Job app is asking for personal references?
A job I am applying for requires three personal references. It specifically says no relatives, and no employers.
I understand the "no relatives" part, but who should I use? Friends of mine? I'm not sure what the point of a personal reference is...of course if I use the name of a friend, they are going to give a good reference.
Since it says no employers, what if I used a former colleague, who I was friendly with?
Any advice? Thanks!!
