our anniverseries...
it's almost april which means it's almost may! i am really tired and was thinking, now is it three years or two? wow... three years! anyway, does anyone know what they are doing for their anniversary? we are stiill watching our pennies tightly, so it's not going to be a getaway for us, sadly. truth be told my bday is a month before and i think i would rather do something more for that than the anni. and even that will be low key (read: cheap - probably an o's game). i thought maybe we could go over to the bakery where we got our cake and get some cupcakes in our wedding cake flavors and then take them to our wedding site and eat them and take a walk around the grounds. i love going back there. as long as we do something to mark the occasion it's fine with me. i don't want to let lack of dough be an excuse to do nothing for it.
Me:39 Dx LPD, Fibroid, AMA and all that goes with that. H:37 Dx low motility and low morphology. TTC since 3/12. Clomid 8/12 and 9/12: BFN. 11/12 on a break for Myomectomy sched. 11/26. Resume TTC early 2013.
Re: our anniverseries...
First weight loss goal - 40lbs... DONE! Second weight loss goal - 17lbs...
Probably not a whole lot. H is taking time off in June for my sister's open house and K's 1st birthday party. Our actual anniversary is a Tuesday, so he'll be working and I'll have class.
Depending on finances we may try to go out to a nice dinner and leave K with a sitter.

don't know yet, good to start thinking about it tho. I'd love to get a mini -cake made similiar to our wedding cake at a local baker.....i'm not a cake person, but damn was that good cake.
I'd love to visit our wedding site and take a walk....LOL ~ I mean, vegas is fabulous this time of year.... ha, I wish, but doubt that we'll be doing that. We'll be low key too I'm sure.

Im not sure if Ill even have off for our actual anniversary. My brother gave us a gift cert to a very nice resutarnt in the city that we are saving for then. We are also supposed to go to an O's game that week.
A friend of mine just celebrated her 15th anniversary with her husband, he bought her a mini coup. My DH laughed hysterically when I told him this.
One can dream right?
We stayed at a B&B not far from hershey when we got engaged. Then the next day we went through the World of Chocolate and had our pic taken on the ride LOL,
I'm trying to get a bunch of coworkers to go to Hershey Park on May 26th or 27th.
I do that at least once a year sometimes twice a year. Actually my ring is out right now. Hmmm wonder when I'm getting it back.
We probably won't do much. Hopefully I'm knocked up by then. I'm stumped on the gift thing though. Men's leather gifts are all to "nice" for my H. He doesn't like fancy shoes or belts, he has wallets, he doesn't want a journal or a travel kit.
All I can think of is running shoes, but he has to buy those himself and I don't want to give him a giftcard. I may order him a pair of Jordans for basketball. Who knows.

Hmm normally in April we go to the French Qtr Fest in New Orleans and always go to our location to see it but doubt we'll go this year with Ava.
And since we havet hat munchkin probably not a whole lot.
Memorial weekend there is a country fest here that we're going to and we're getting babysitters so I won't be getting a babysitter for the weekend before and after.
I will probably just cook a nice meal.
I'm thinking golf shoes for H since those are leather although right now I don't want anything leather for myself so I don't know what I'd get.
Maybe my hair done or something...geez I'm so cool to pick out my own gift haha
No plans yet, but you guys are getting my brain stirring.
I like the idea of getting a small cake or cupcakes in the wedding cake flavor. Mentioned it to J and he liked that idea. There are a couple of B&Bs in NOLA that I have wanted to visit so maybe we can swing that...? I like to dream ya know... knowing that we will have a like 6-8wk old around that point. Oh well, we could take him/her with us and leave Gabby with MIL for the night. It's something, right? lol
