I'm having a bit of a temper tantrum

My internal motto for today seems to be "I DON'T WANNA!!".  I don't want to be at work. I don't want to cook the dinner I'm planning (scampi fra diavolo).  I don't want to run tonight.  I just want to pout.

I'm blaming my dietary frustrations on this.  I did a long run (6 miles) on Saturday, and then, for a variety of reasons, hardly ate anything all day.  Since then, I feel like I constantly feel like I haven't eaten enough.  I'm just frustrated that normal amounts of food aren't cutting it. 

Okay, pout over.  You may return to your lives now.

  • That recipe looks great.  It looks easy too so, at least you have that :)  I think it's ok to eat more than your normal serving if you're running so much.  Also, the shrimp may help because of all the protein (I'm trying to look at the bright side here).

    Maybe, a nice hot shower/bath will help before bed too.  Sometimes I'll do that just to release some tension and I always feel  better after 20 minutes of a steamy hot shower (sans husband although that can be nice too, lmao).
