Good morning! Sleep has not been very good at our house lately. AJ has woken up at 2am and 5:30am the past 4 nights. It just takes me 10-15 minutes to feed him and go back to sleep but it is wearing on me.
He doesn't really seem to be teething and i"m worried that the middle of the night nursing is going to start a bad habit in him but it is quick and it works. Also, I still have mommy guilt that he is in the 0% for weight so I feed on demand.
Today will be a coffee day.
I did buy a neti pot last fall but I'm not really having a snotty issue, its more like that ALLLLLLLLLERGY feeling and then I hit up my nasal steroid (zomg, its so awesome) and it makes that stop. But now I have like a dry/scratchy throat and an occasional hack (which is disgusting) and then a few sneezes.

We had a baby that did this. That is why she slept in our room forever in the pack and play. I just wasn't one to let her cry and cry when she was a little baby. Eventually, she just grew out of it and now sleeps through the night.. like 12 hours... so there is light at the end of the tunnel.
I wish I had spent less time trying to figure things out and over thinking, because looking back it was like a new issue every month, and then it was on to something new. They are confusing little things
He has been a great sleeper until the past few nights (12+ hours). I'm not that opposed to CIO but it is hard in the middle of the night when you hear them cry and then no one is getting sleep. If we let him CIO then we are awake longer than just nursing for 10 minutes and going back to bed. I may have DH try to soothe him if it happens again tonight...AJ is just not a snuggler, he wants the boob and then his bed.

Good morning! It's supposed to snow here (VA) today but it's just raining now.
...and for the record, I am not complaining, just sayin'.
I swear by the SinusRinse. My next door neighbor is an ENT Physician so he is sweet enough to drop free ones off at my house all the time. He also said if you use it while having a Sinus infection add a tiny bit of Baby Shampoo to it, this will help kill the bacteria in your infection.
For the record I am scuuuurrreddd of things going up my nose, it's honestly a fear. It is SUCH a fear it impacts my sex life ( like ummmm NO pearl necklaces for this girl for fear something will get in my nose) That said, I will use that Rinse bottle until the cows come home.
