Weather this time of year
Since the weather forecast is mentioning snow for April 1, I notice a lot of 'buzz' over it. I am fairly new to upstate (since about '04). I remember the year I moved up there was a huge ice storm in April. My daughter was due in March 04 and we had so much snow that March, I remember DH being so worried about getting to the hospital.
When would you say the weather truly does get better? Isn't there usually a snow or ice storm in April? I feel like the kids are always in warm jackets through May..
Re: Weather this time of year
I know we had a freak snowstorm in May before because it was RPI graduation day and they had to move it inside. The snow was gone by that afternoon.
Usually April doesn't bring snow, just rain. I think normally by this time I'm out of my winter jacket and into my spring jacket but not this year.
