I can't help but go 'awwww' every time I see Oscar's birthday countdown lol. Did you get him a birthday present? Or am I the only crazy who does that?

Last year for his bday he got special meals (yogurt and bananas w/some doggie ice cream at dinner), but this year he's on an isolated diet to try to solve some skin allergies..so I'm the crazy-dog mom. His dry food is sweet potato and fish. We're not supposed to give him anything to eat (including treats) other than the dry food.
I called the vet to ask if I could make him mashed sweet potato for a special dinner since sweet potato is already in his diet and I can! So he'll get that "special" dinner and then we'll walk to Petco and pick out a new toy.
And he'll get to sleep on the bed with us, which is usually only for Fri and Sat nights.

My cat turned 3 a couple weeks ago and I bought him a present a few days early and Jason asked me what it was, and I literally whispered it to him because apparently I thought my cat would be able to understand? lol I also hid it in the closet until his actually birthday.
