  • Weight loss this week:  1.6 lbs.  SOOO HAPPY!!!!

    Overall feeling this week:  Feeling pretty good.  I feel "healthier" even though haven't lost all that much.  Maybe it's b/c spring is starting to show up for real.

    Favorite veggie:  either broccoli or green beans

    Favorite fruit:  strawberries

    What is your first goal that you're trying to accomplish? (some people have little milestone/goals rather than a large one) My first goal that I'm shooting for is 20 pounds lost.  I have about 11.5 lbs. left to go.

  • like debdeb i have been avoiding this too--two weeks ago i had the weight GAIN, and then i lost, but only .25 pounds.  then last week i was in boston, and did REALLY well for all but 2 (really horribly awful) days.  this week i have been KICKING SERIOUS ASSS, so i hope to see the scale go down on friday!

    What is your first goal that you're trying to accomplish? (some people have little milestone/goals rather than a large one)--->in general to lose 40 lbs.  i would love to just look at the smaller picture though and say 1 lb a week.  that and to RUN MORE :) 

  • Just remember ladies, that it's not always about the number on the scale, but how you are feeling.  I haven't been losing as quickly as i would like, but i've lost a little.  But over all, I'm feeling better, and like I have more energy.  I may not be a size 6, but right now, I'm feeling like it. Wink

  • I know I'm a bit late here and I'm kinda just starting:

    Weight loss this week: Idk because I'm afraid of the scale. I'll start weighing myself next week.

    Overall feeling this week:I feel pretty good. I've been sore today and yesterday, but I like that because it means its working.

    Favorite veggie: Honestly? I hate veggies. Uhm, sugar snap peas?

    Favorite fruit: Raspberries. But I love most fruits.

    What is your first goal that you're trying to accomplish? (some people have little milestone/goals rather than a large one) Just to stick with it. I suck at that. I', trying to make sure I actually exercise 4-5 times a week. I'll get bigger/more goals once I get that down. H is helping though, so maybe this time I'll do it.

    That's what it is all about!!  Good for you!  I just read an article that stressed the fact there is no need to diet if you feel confident about yourself and your own body image and there is no urgent medical reason to.

     

    Weight loss this week:  So far, another half pound.  I will give myself my "official" weigh-in tomorrow.

    Overall feeling this week:  Feeling good.  I've been playing catch up after being away last weekend.  I actually didn't eat horribly at all and did enough walking around the city to call it acceptable excercise, but it got me out of my 5 pound weight loss groove from last week.

    Favorite veggie:  tomatoes (unless you're one of the ones that argues it is a fruit!), and eggplant

    Favorite fruit:  rasberries....I'm a total berries person, but love all fruits as well... apples, peaches, plums, grapefruit, oranges, etc.....yum.

    What is your first goal that you're trying to accomplish? I wanted to lose 10 pounds and accomplished that!  I think I am now going to try for another 10 then back off a little
