Moms- recommend your lightweight stroller!

I am in need of a new stroller.  I hate the one I have.  It is one that was given to me by my sister and it was part of her travel system, but I cannot stand it!  It's big bulky and heavy.  I mean not THAT heavy but annoying to pick up and throw in and out of my trunk (I have a Dodge Nitro).  What strollers do you girls use?  I prefer one with a cup and snack holder if possible because Dylan likes to lean forward.  TIA!!

Re: Moms- recommend your lightweight stroller!

  • clearly we don't have babies yet, but we're planning on gettin a MacClaren Triumph (i think, the cheaper of the triumph and techno) double. That thing turns on a dime and is light. We also want to get a Bob.

If not for the desire for the Bob, I'd get a City Mini, which would likely meet all of your needs (and is mid sized between umbrella and giant jogger, hah!)

  • We have the city mini- LOVE it!!  Just be sure to get the accessories- it doesn't come with much storage- so we got some add-ons on Amazon

  • We have the Mclaren Volo - we have a Mini Cooper and needed a tiny stroller!  It doesn't have the cupholders for the kids, though.

  • I fell in love with the city mini this weekend.... I can't wait to potentially have it in my life!
  • I'm not a mom nor have I actually tried any strollers, but I see the City Mini recommended all the time. It has 1 hand fold-up as well.

  • We bought the Combi, basically it was a little bigger than an umbrella stroller has a cup holder and front bar (but it is soft so not something I would let LO lean against), it is a little pricey, but if you use a coupon it would be worth it. It is small and light but should last us through 55 lbs. The basket isn't much but you could throw a blanket or a toy in there, it isn't meant for diaper bag.
