Mercy Peds ?

First, thank you to everyone for your wonderful suggestions on keeping Ella occupied and not realizing what is going on! I bought 5 books and made clocks to put on them, printed off a bunch of activities including the garden and doctor packets, she now has a mobi-go, new PJ's, puzzles...pretty much everything! Now I ask what is it like on the peds floor of the hospital? Should I pack snacks? Is the meal menu different for kids? Since I am not allowed to leave, will I be allowed to order or should I plan on Adam coming so I can eat or him bringing me something? I really only shop on weekends so I am trying to work everything out now so I can be ready this weekend and not have to do anything before Thursday. Any other suggestions are greatly appreciated! If they don't find what they are looking for this time they will do an even longer one :-/

Re: Mercy Peds ?

  • Someone else probably has better info than me, but I remember when Carly was in the NICU at Mercy, the nurses told us the parents can order meals on the peds floor.

There was no food allowed in the NICU rooms so we weren't able to order any meals.

I am thinking about you guys a lot and keeping you in my prayers.
