It?s so hard to be a good girl.
Went to the hockey game last night (great game btw) had the normal naughty dinner product that you can get at games? but now they have cake, for real cake, big azz chocolate cake. I walked past it.
At break I got inline for a sweet cream pretzel.. I got out of line.. I don?t need it. Then later on the jumbotron they show this chick w/ one of those chocolate cake pieces.. OMG OMG OMG. Stayed in my seat
We had to go the grocery store after the game and candy bars kept trying to jump into to cart, I shooed them away .
All I can think about is the sugar sweeties.. ugh.. I was good last night, but I know it won?t last. I have two cakes and a batch of cupcakes to make for this weekend and next week at work.. ugh?..

Re: It?s so hard to be a good girl.
I have been doing the South Beach Diet for about two weeks now and I am finally over my sugar cravings. For me at least it takes about 1.5 weeks to detox my body from it. It's nice not to constantly be thinking about junk food. Now that I think about it, I didn't even study the candy (like I usually do, salivating) when I checked out at the grocery store today.
But man, for that first 1.5 weeks with out any sugar, I am a total biitch. Ask my H.

It really is like an addiction and really my only real vise, I drink but hardly (DH does not drink and I only have so much meney when we do go out, so it;s low on the list) I've never smoked, never did a drug (been a mom since I was 15 so not able to experiment) .. but I am a nut job when it comes to sugar.
sugar is my crack and the idea of detox or trying to go without it is kinda scary, why I dont know.. it just is
I do however want to cut down and I trying... so making cakes as a hoddy is not helping...lol
