I will have to say New Orleans, more for the reason I went. I was in a traveling dance company and we performed at the Sugar Bowl Halftime show. It was such an amazing experience!
Not only did we perform, but they also had a party for us on a Mississippi cruise boat and had a New Years Eve party at the warehouse where the Mardi Gras floats are stored. I have a lot of pictures, but they are actual photographs and I just don't have the energy to scan them.
San Diego, CA.
It's the only place I ever wanted to go as a little girl, and I went with school for a journalism competition in 2004. I had a blast! I would love to go back and go to Sea World and the zoo, but even missing those two things, it was one of the best trips ever.
The Happiest Place on Earth...Walt Disney World! I can go there over and over and never tire of it; there's always something new to experience and what stays the same is always just as awesome as the last time I saw it. Plus, we got engaged there and went for our honeymoon so I'm a little partial.
I think I'm going to go with Malibu, CA. I went back this weekend and I can't believe how incredibly lucky I was to spend 3 years there. Many of my best memories are also there- meeting K, meeting some of my best friends, developing and growing so much as a person.
Also, the lifestyle is completely different. It is super relaxed- jeans and a fitted shirt is dressed up- and everything just kind of goes at its own pace. It is so nice and relaxing! Incredibly beautiful as well- Malibu only goes .8mi inland- so almost everything has a water view. Plus it is a serious weather upgrade (frowns at predicted snow).
Stand up for something you believe in.
As much as I absolutely adored Maui for our honeymoon, my favorite vacation/travel was when I was 18 and went to England, Ireland and Wales for 2 weeks, Ireland being my absolute favorite. Spent almost a week there, and I've never felt so "home" in my life. These are my people, and I could literally feel it in my bones. The food was so warm and comforting, the people were so friendly (seriously, they celebrate the 4th of July. Seriously) and welcoming. I want to go back so badly. Absolutely beautiful.

I would have to say Bilbao, Spain.
We went to a few other places in Spain like Madrid, but Bilbao really stands out for me because the night we were there happened to be New Year's Eve. The entire city was dead around 9, like literally empty, and the only restaurant we could find open was a Chinese place, for which we were the only patrons. We had a full meal, and were still there at midnight, so we rang in 2001 with the restaurant manager and waiter. When we left at 12:01 the entire city was awake and throwing confetti, streamers, poppers, and firecrackers out all of the apartment windows to the street. As soon as they saw pedestrians (i.e. us) they started aiming for us so we had to dodge "explsoives" as we made it back to our car. It sounds weird, but it was one of the most amazing nights, we were just dying with laughter the whole time.
I honestly haven't done much traveling.
My favorite place so far would have to be Riviera Maya, Mexico. I've never been so relaxed in my life.
That would have to be Jamaica for our honeymoon. It's the first time either of us had been out of the country, and we talk about going back all the time. The water was gorgeous, the sunsets were breath-taking, and the weather was perfect.

Tokyo. The city had such energy (sounds like such a cliche but it's true) and the people were so nice. It was my first time outside of North America and can you say culture shock? Gave me an appreciation for people who come to the US because it's not easy to get around a foreign country when you don't know the language.
Best memories were shopping in the Shibuya district (when you walked into a dept store, the staff all bows to you in greeting....at first it was weird and I wanted to tell them to not bother, but I grew accustomed to it and when I got back to the states, I was sad there was no greeting protocol in place! haha), seeing Mt Fuji from my hotel room, walking around the Emperor's Palace and just seeing so much history. And going to Tokyo Disneyland and laughing hysterically at the haunted house because we just sorta blanked and weren't expecting the voiceovers to be in Japanese. Duh.
Worst memories: The subway system! I have no problems with publica transportation but I got lost in Tokyo more times than I care to admit. Each stop had like 4 ot 5 exits and they'd take you onto some street you weren't looking for. It was frustrating. Hong Kong's subway, by comparison, was so much easier to navigate. Probably because everything was in English too.
Iguazu Falls in Argentina. So so amazing, I will go back some day. All of Argentina was great, but the falls were my absolute favorite part. When I'm feeling uninspired, I close my eyes and think back to it. I took a million pictures, but all with a 35mm and I haven't scanned any, so here is a picture of the main part of the falls, The Devil's Throat/La Garganta Del Diablo from Google:
And here is a picture that my friend posted on FB of the two of us in front of it. If you look in the picture above, you can see a long skinny line going to the falls on the right side of the photo. We were standing at the end of that:

Not to mention how it was all a surprise. That's pretty memorable in itself!!
I think Hawaii, Waikiki was my favorite as well. I had such a great time. Sunbathing, the culture, the weather, the scenery. Gorgeous.
For non-tropical, I think Montreal and San Francisco. I love San Francisco. I have been in the city time after time. It is always new to me. Montreal was similar to New Orleans for me. The Old Montreal part of the town was amazing. Food was spectacular.
NYC was a hit too. haha. I've had great times on my trips.
