Opinions?
DH's birthday was yesterday. In leiu of gifts this year we are cooking each other a nice meal for our birthdays. I cannot decide what to do. My two ideas are:
a) Stout and cheddar meatloaf (wrapped in bacon), mashed potatoes, sauteed greens and mud pie for dessert
or
b) shrimp, scallop and feta mac and cheese, asparagus with tomatoes and feta, some crostini for an app, and mud pie for dessert.
DH really likes bacon and seafood so I am pretty stumped. We do have bacon a lot more frequently than sea food so maybe I should make the mac and cheese? What do you all think?

He isn't really a typical "manly" eater so that doesn't really concern me. He is the one who turned me on to tofu.
