Or is she off having a baby? I dont have 3G service down here so I can't get on FB or twitter. I dont think I've seen her respond to anything today but maybe I passed right over her responses.

I'm here. *siiiigh* How about an update?
So went to the OB yesterday morning. I'm over 4cm dilated. Weeee. She "stretched" my cervix. That was weird. Said water bag is "bulging." Whatever that means. ha. I started with big bad cramps in the afternoon. Turned into contractions that evening. I was miserable all night, low back pain, etc. But they seriously weren't timeable. I was all WTF man. J put a lot of pressure into my lower back with his fists which was like heaven and I fell asleep like that. ha. Woke up this morning, no cramps, no contractions. WTF. Spent the day finishing the baby's room and Gabby's room (weeeee they are done!), packing my bag. Cramps started again about 2pm and I've had a few contractions since then. Def. lower back pain right now. Called doc to ask about beaucoup spotting (which is normal after the stretching she did), mentioned cramps and contractions - she said to keep the bags by the door. Ha. Yesterday doc said baby will be here before Friday. eeek!
We are literally at the "any minute" point right now. It's a friggin "watched pot" for sure thing going on. Any time I sigh or stop to just stand still, J freaks and is like "Are you ok?? How long did that last??" haha I'm so bored right now. G is asleep, house is clean, bags are packed, J is playing a video game. blaaahhhhh.
In other news, J met with his friend re: the job offer yesterday. Very good progress on that front. A few more things need to get settled (as in, I need to have this baby while J is at his current job because once he switches we'll have that looooovely gap in health insurance coverage and I honestly don't want to deal with COBRA or anything... I want it to be simple). But all signs are pointing to "yes" as far as him getting it and making this big ole career change. I am very anxious about this right now... I really really want it to work out.
Good to hear about J and the job front and I know exactly what you mean with switching over insurances.
