Hey Bloggers...

I'm bored. I've heard there are some great niner blogs floating around out there, but I'm out of the loop. Feel free to AW yours here. I'll read about anything. I'm just nosey like that. I've heard there are some great baby and pregnancy blogs floating around, and we all know I'm baby-obsessed.

Re: Hey Bloggers...

  • In my siggy, but warning: it's kinda depressing.
  • mine is down there too- not too exciting but hopefully I will catch up and post more now that we have moved.
  • Mine's pretty depressing since it's about my miscarriage, but it's there.

Congrats to both my TTC buddies, Amberley18 and sb2006 on their beautiful babies!
  • Mine is in my siggy, too. It's a bore. I have pictures to add and commentary to add... But i get too lazy to do anything about it. And my last couple posts are lame. I'm pretty sure my blog isn't what all the buzz is about lol.

Thanks so much for sharing this Amelia. My family and I were in a really bad wreck when I was 3. My mom basically broke her whole face, and they didn't think my dad would survive. When he did, they told him he'd never walk again. They were wrong, but he was out of work for over a year. When I read your blog, I really start to think about what that time was like for my parents and how much they probably struggled and changed because of it. I was too young to remember. I don't really even remember my parents being together, but your blog just sheds a whole new light on it for me. It's a funny feeling when you start looking at your parents in a different way or worrying about them now that you're an adult and "get it" a little more. I'm so sorry for everything you've been through in your life, but I'm glad that it lead you to where you are now.

  • In my siggy.... I try to keep up with it but it's been hard lately.  I do post at least once a month though, on Sami's monthiversary, so there's always that to look forward to ;D

  • Mines down here too, but my laptop broke and I haven't been able to update recently. Feel free to poke around!
  • Thanks, DD, for your kind words! I appreciate that. I'm sorry for everything your family went through, but I'm glad that everyone is alive and well.

having Ellie brought back a lot of old fears and anger that I had pushed way down and tried to ignore. When she came into the world, I realized that in order the be the best mom possible, I have to let those things go. So, the blog is my way of doing that. I'm glad to know that you gained something from it as well.
  • Ames, I've been meaning to tell you that even though I'm not around that much, I follow your blog and think about you a lot.

You're amazing. I mean, duh, everyone knew that.... but yea. xoxo

  • Aw, thank you Amanda Smile I love you too lady!
  • You're on right now?! HI!!!
  • Mine is www.houseofcharron.blogspot.com

I sat here and read everyone's blogs tonight. Some things made me smile and somethings made me cry. I'm surrounded by an amazing group of women.

Meghan-Your blog is really great.  Even though it's about one of the hardest (if not the hardest) times in your life, I admire you for taking the time to write down all of your feelings. Miscarriage is such a tragedy and I'm so very sorry for your loss. I know it can't be easy to see all of these pregnant niners on here and hear about their stories when you're going through a hard time. I think  your blog will help other people going through the same thing.

Amelia-Your blog is intense and I really had no idea about what you went through as a child and in your young adult life. All I can say is that you are such a strong, amazing woman and you are giving Ellie such a great life filled with happy memories and good times. It's nice to hear that even with your dark past, that you are able to overcome and give Ellie the very best life possible.

  • Thanks everyone! I've started reading through them. This will keep me busy for a while. :-)

Tara- Thank you so much for sharing. I know that I have no idea what you've been through, but I can identify about a lot of what you're saying. I very much know the feeling of worrying that it's a job and the effects that that has on your relationship with your husband. I started out very relaxed and have become a little more "TTC crazy" over the months. I also know what it feels like to compare your self or where you thought you'd be with others. I even find myself doing that with some girls on this board. I'm so sorry for your loss. I just want you to know that I can at least somewhat identify and that I'm here if you need someone to talk to.

  • DD and K-Hart, I think you meant Meghan instead of me...

  • We did! Thanks for correcting us, Tara! I have a girl on my local with the same initials and she's a Tara, doh!
  • i already sent you my blog link, but for anyone else who is interested...ill give you my link and password upon request haha.

my blog is individual posts about all of the people who have impacted my life. starting with birth (my mom obvs) and up to today in sequential order of how i met them.

its a secret and pw protected because some of the posts i get to eventually will probably be unflattering. oh and there are some of those things that "we never talk about".

Aww, I was, and then the Elster needed attention.

    Sorry I missed you!
  • I recommend Misspippa's blog, Life on the Terrace. It's really comprehensive, she really is honest about the challenges and joys of new parenthood, and it's presented really well.  And it has all those cute pictures of that absolutely adorable little Parker. I live baby-vicariously through her blog.
