Should I early vote?
I'd have to skip lunch and walk a few blocks from the trolley line to go to the early voting location, and DH says I'm crazy. I've never had a problem voting at my polling location on election day, but I feel unreasonably paranoid this year. Would you make the trek or just wait until Tuesday? I feel that if I wait until the weekend I'm doomed to wait in long, long lines.

I'm nervous about doing it. We are going to register today, but we haven't decided if we'll vote. I found out that in 2004, several towns (not City of MKE) had problems with absentee ballots. (Our "early voting" is just in-person absentee.) They are supposed to get delivered to the ward on election day to be counted, but several thousand were never delivered and thus, never counted. I'm not sure I trust my town to deliver my ballot to the ward on Tuesday. I think I'll feel more confident putting the ballot in the machine myself.
