I'm having a serious TMI issue (don't read if you're eating!)

So my bowels have been super strange lately. I'm still what I would consider regular (ie: I go every day) but the amounts have been all over the place.

:::WARNING: GROSS STUFF AHEAD!:::

This morning I literally filled up the toilet! It was gross, but also kind of scary. Like how can that much stuff be inside of me if I am having regular dates with my bathroom?

Anyone go through this or think of any reason why this could be happening? It seriously hurt me this morning, not because I was straining but just because, well, it was so much.

Sorry to be so gross, but I don't know who else to ask Embarrassed

Re: I'm having a serious TMI issue (don't read if you're eating!)

  • I kind of think this is related to pregnancy.  Although, I've heard it's usually the opposite and you get constipated.  When I'm on my cycle, my bm's tend to be really weird too like that which is why I want to say it's hormonal.  I've never been pregnant obviously but I'm wondering if that has to do with it.

    PCOS and Endo

    Ovarian drilling and endo removed 1/3/12
    BFP - 3/27/12
    Beta's 11, 14, 57, 637, 2800
    Sono showed no baby and teeny tiny sac. Waiting to M/C naturally.

  • Well the good thing: you're eating tons of fiber apparently! Consider yourself lucky because most girls complain of being constipated. I'm kind of in between right now. Regular but tiny BMs. You could always mention it to your doctor if it starts to be a problem, I'm pretty sure that I read Imodium is ok during pregnancy.
  • How is the consistancy?

    You may need some fiber to solidify it. I'm a huge fan of metamucil, it's my new bff.

    It's just probably pregnancy related, my whole 1st trimester circled around BM's.

  • I had the complete opposite issue. I swear I didn't poop my entire first tri. It could be something in your prenatal vitamin so I'd call your dr and ask. Maybe try a different brand vitamin if it is bothering you.

  • Thanks guys. Maybe you're right and it has to do with hormones/prenatals etc. I just feel like I haven't really done anything differently lately. Guess I'll let you know how things progress Wink
