Anniversary Help

Yes, I know you don't know my husband but I'm totally stumped about our anniversary.  I don't know what to do for the night/day other than going out for dinner.  I'm willing to drive a few hours or even stay overnight Friday to Saturday.  Any suggestions?

    B&B in Savannah? We did that the weekend of our engagement & it was wonderful.

    What about New Orleans?  It's about 3 hours from us.  You could have a nice dinner, check out some jazz and drinks.  Have beingnets and coffee at Cafe du Monde for breakfast, check out the Quarter, or the zoo or something.

    I was thinking about New Orleans.  We have driven there and back in a day before.  We are going to go to Jacksons for dinner Sat night (it's where we had our wedding dinner and it is friggin delicious) and we both have to be up super early for church Sunday so going out Sat night is kind of out.

    I should look and see what there is going on the 8th/9th in New Orleans.

    Sweet!  I haven't been to Jackson's yet, but I've heard it's great!  If you haven't been to Global Grill yet....put it on your list.  It's on Palafox Place.

    If you cant get to NOLA try Destin, its closer and will be nice this time of year, not too too crazy yet.

    Hmm, maybe I will see what there is to do in Destin for the day.  I think it all depends on how H feels after work on Friday.
