We are having crappy weather as well. It looks like it is about 9pm right now. We are in a tornado warning. It's been rainy all week. The one good thing about the Tampa bay Rays being in there boob looking stadium, they never cancel games due to weather.

Howdy doody friends. I did not go to work yesterday because I could not get out of bed. Why? Because I wrenched my back bowling for charity on Saturday. Two words come to mind: OLD and LAME.
I woke up at 6:30, couldn?t move or breathe when I tried to move, emailed work, and went back to sleep from 7:30 until 9:30. It was awesome. I got up, hobbled around, made breakfast, showered, and headed to the chiropractor, which was torture but worth it. What a relief to move and breathe again. The eighth vertebrae on my right side is twisted out, so the muscles are all effed up and its pushing all of my innards into my ribs hence the shortness of breath. So it?s still spasming when I bend over and very painful to twist to either side and I?m walking around like I?m 90 and I have to go back Friday, BUT it is one million times better than yesterday morning. It is really difficult to sit straight up with both feet on the ground. I can?t lay on the couch, go to the gym or lift anything until Monday to give things time to work back into place and for the muscles to quiet down in there.
I ran errands after that, and it took me all day because I am moving so slowly. I went to Ross (two dresses for $21 total), Kohl?s (zero), Marshall?s (tank dress and cross body bag), Foreman Mills (Phillies hoodie and zip up jacket), and to the library, Redners, and Jiffy Lube. I got home, caught up on three episodes of Swamp People, put three loads of laundry away, made dinner, ate, painted my nails, then went upstairs to watch four episodes of The Good Wife.
I slept flat on my back, no pillow or anything. That worked. I am stiff as a flipping board this morning but it?ll work out a little throughout the day.
I was going to go get my new license at lunch but the photo card must be at home. I thought it was here, which is why I didn?t do it yesterday. Hmph.
stephanie, sorry to hear about your back, but glad it's feeling a little better today! i have major back issues, so i feel your pain! good luck!

Morning ladies!
Steph-I'm sorry about your back. Back pain sucks! As I get older, post-workouts tend to wreak havoc on my lower back. I have a heating pad next to the bed that I use almost every night.
I've been MIA all week b/c work bestie was on vacay and I cover for her. So much to do, not enough time in the day. As usual, shiz hits the fan on a daily basis at work cuz our office mgr is a douche baguette. Please tiny baby jesus, send her away to torture another office.
On some happier notes, we filed our taxes and even though DH owes, I will get a refund. Wahoo! Will help pay for Vegas in 2 months. DH also bought a job. Meaning he bought a route and will be delivering product again. This time it's Mission Foods, so all the tortillas, chips and salsa my fat arse desires. I'm just happy to be a two income house again. Hello DVR! DH promised we'd get one when he got a job.
Other than that not much news. Wearing my ruffly purple tank I posted last week and it looks fab. And I'm down another pound. Happy day.

I am wearing a purple sweater today! Color friends, unite.
I forgot my farking heating pad today. Not pleased.

Today is my friday. Have another fulough day tomorrow. Nice to have a day off, but it sucks on the pay check. Today I have a 2 hour training with some IT people about upgrading our website to a new system. I'm NOT looking forward to this. I don't really get the IT stuff, and if I did I would have gone into that field. But, I'm the chosen one to update our website (probably b/c I'm the youngest person by at least 15 years, much more in some cases.) It sucks. I hate it.
J has class tonight and tomorrow night. So I'm going to do some deep spring cleaning tonight/tomorrow/tomorrow night. Probably drinking while I do it, cuz that's the kinda week I had.
I'm seriously hoping all the weather people are playing a joke on us and tomorrow they'll be like "APRIL FOOL!" and there will be no snow.
Last night was nice and relaxing. Worked out. Made dinner (chicken marsala, not that good). Baked cupcakes.
Tonight I'm heading over to my friend's place for Grey's. I'm so anxious about tonight's episode! AND all my med school friends (who I watch Grey's w/) are graduating in May and going to places all across the country and leaving me all alone.
I've got a ton of projects to kick off today, so basically I'm not going to get any other work done. I'll be in meetings all day.
Maybe I'll just work from home tomorrow, what with the snow and the crazy past two days I've had, I deserve it.

Sorry to hear that so many are having crappy weeks. If you get a few minutes, send some good vibes to my BFF. Monday she had to put her kitty to sleep (some sort of digestive track lymphoma...lost half his body weight in a month), Tuesday she found out her Step-Mom's cancer is much worse than original prognosis and it's not looking good and yesterday her DH's boss was found dead of apparent suicide. I'm gonna put a care package together for her tonight but she can use all the happy thoughts she can get right now.
Got home last night to DH searching for a wire coat hanger. Why did he need one? Dumb Guy (DG) came to look at the motorcycle he had for sale and ended up locking his keys in his truck. No spare set. DH and DG tried for about 45 minutes to break into the truck with the coat hanger and they ended up popping the latch on the back window with a screwdriver. On the bright side, DG bought the motorcycle, so yay for cash back in our pockets (more likely bills paid off).
Leaving work early today to pick up the title for the bike, paint for the basement and a doc appt. Hoping to relax at home tonight, but groceries and laundry beckon.

My end of the day meeting was a joke yesterday. The grandparent forgot to come and the teacher told me she "will try to be there". We decided to do the meeting after the string of tests coming up since we have time so it worked out pretty well. Went home and cooked only to find out 10 minutes into cooking Jeremy was heading to the gym so I ate by myself, again. He's supposed to have kitchen duty but he's been slacking in that AND he left out of the food overnight. Waste not, want not. Guess he missed that saying.
I slept in this morning. Why? I have no idea but I did and am not worrying about it. I'm testing a kiddo later today and doing some therapies and calling it a day.
The contract company I work for has been giving me the run around, as in not returning phone calls or e-mails so I have no idea what next school year will hod. Since I need to find something for this summer anyway I put in a million applicatins last night and already have two hits for hospital settings. Now fingers crossed when I call back they'll be pediatric!
Sorry for everybody's spring storms! It's rainy/snowy mix for the next week and a half here so I feel your pain.
Last night E was with her dad so it was Toby and me night :-) Which included Subway, AI and me starting the 3rd book in the Millenium Trilogy. We were in bed by 930, talked about house, baby and made some good plans! I feel content with it all now.
Test next week for work and Im not too excited about it but it must be done so....

I had Chipotle for dinner last night. I almost polished off an entire burrito by myself. I love Chipotle. I'm also considering a few grad schools to apply to. I might just pick the one that is closest to home, we shall see.
Not much on the agenda tonight. I'm going to Safeway to buy a few things. The chicken breast and asparagus are both on sale so I'll have to pick some up. I'm looking forward to Grey's too. I'm getting over American Idol, some of the contestants get on my last nerve!

I was going to wait on the 3rd one until next week on my test but the way the 2nd one ended I had to go get the 3rd! Once you get a couple chapters into it, it slows down which is good because I need to be studying...Im a hopeless romantic and hope Mikael and Lisbeth get together and stay so.
i'm ubber late on this thread...im so sad that i haven't had time to get on much this week b/c of the ditzy girl im attempting to train...ugh!

I called in sick today. I have been mad at my work for not getting my raise, then I look at my account today and see on my direct deposit that I got the raise this week. It's not much, about an extra 100 dollars a month. So now I feel guilty about calling in sick for no reason.
Other than that today I have nothing to do except laundry all day!
Shauni - This I-live-in-the-northeat-so-I-get-no-spring thing has got to stop I am so sick of the freezing cold and freakin snow flurries every time I look out the window! Although - you are getting it worse - so sorry about that!
DH and I are are headed to the Hamptons this weekend with some friends so I have my fingers crossed for decent weather in Long Island!
On a side note- the bar applications I have to fill out for Mass. and RI are killing me.. I think after 3 years of law school I want to quit and be a wedding planner :-) Anyone want to quit their job and start a business?!

My should have been MOH is getting married June 2012 and Im her MOH and I have also become wedding planner! Im sooo excited!!! I have seriously looked into it.
