I'm hoping you can reassure me!
At my u/s on Monday, my one big follie was 17x17x18.
I triggered at 9am on Monday.
I had my IUI at 11am on Tuesday and rather than b2b IUI, we had sex yesterday to cover our bases and save almost $300.
My temp has still not gone up. I am worried that I might not have ovulated at all and this was a waste
Is it even possible to not O, with a follie that size + trigger??
Re: **Emily Cookie**
I know very little with all this, but I just wanted to throw it out there that my temps never went up when I O'd ... they were always all over the place, so try not to let that concern you too much!
I've got everything crossed for you!
I cannot IMAGINE you didn't O with a trigger. The one cycle I did it I not only felt myself O (it felt like massive gas; I was in the car and nearly pulled over) but I was horridly bloated and sore-boobed for like 5 days (Chris never had these side effects though).
And that is a good size follicle - that's the size of the biggest one C ever had - the big one from the sticky cycle (and she got preg 2 times with slightly smaller ones; she only had one BFN IUI).
You O something like 24-36 hrs post trigger, so the extra sex covered bases for sure (and sperm lives a day or two I think?).
I'm super crossing my fingers this works for you!! when's your bloodwork?
It's actually something like 3 to 5 days
hehehe ok. factiods not useful to me since i dont accidentally run into the stuff
Washed sperm has only a day or two to live
My beta is 4/11 (which is only 13dpiui because I'm already off work). I will likely have to go for a repeat either way on 4/13 if I make it that long. My LP is typically 13-14 days. There was one cycle where it was 20 days, but that was my probable c/p that I never tested for so who knows.

THANK YOU! I'm just SOOOO nervous. A BFN in a natural cycle is so different (and I come to expect it). I totally had O pains on Tuesday and plenty of other evidence that I was fertile ... so I'm sure I'm worrying over nothing. It's just freaking me out.

OH DUH!!! I actually knew that. Okay, just ignore me from now on!!
Butting in here too, I know we talked about temping, if it is freaking you out, I'd say just don't do it. It won't change anything, right? Plus I have heard that with meds your temps might not tell you anything anyway because there are so many other factors at play.
I know!! But my RE requires me to temp and bring my chart to all appointments

That is kind of fascist. hah! I would think since you're in the 2WW there's no sense stressing over what you can't change. I have heard of plenty of women who temp to ID ovulation, but once they know they've ovulated they stop temping til next cycle starts.
Do what you feel comfortable with and take good care of yourself :-)
Keeping everything crossed for you and Maddy sends baby love.

I told you to stop googling gosh darn it!
Temping made me nutzo so I stopped but since your RE requires it is necessary.
