Please put my mind at ease
My boss, who is EXTREMELY intelligent, but way too hypervigiliant at times, has sent us all an email about exposing our kids to milk and green leafy veggies (as well as rainwater). He has cited many sources for this, and I have yet to read this. I am at the point where I don't know whether or not to call my daycare and tell them to pull Kellen's milk for the next 8 days (half life of this radiation) or if I am just overreacting as well. Can someone who knows more please give me some of there opinions???

I hadn't heard about this, so I googled it. You should only have to worry if the veggies and milk are imported from Japan, which they won't be here in Iowa. As for rainwater, also not an issue. Yes, some radiation is traveling, but by the time it gets anywhere near the US it'll be in such minute amounts that it won't be harmful.
Thanks for the reassurance! I was telling Shea, that between my boss' email and my preggo hormones, I am up in the air with all of this, and it is good to be brought back down to earth!
