they're releasing tron: legacy on dvd tuesday...if you order from amazon, you can get it and the original for $42 for the 2 blu-rays. $28 for both dvds.

i got out of seeing it at the theater...and now DH has decided that since he did some computer work for a friend, and this movie comes out...we're buying a surround sound system.

Ah, but you do realize he will have to have it.
We usually wait and get our blu-rays at a used shop. We often get new for the price of used. I got Tangled (the 4 disc w/ digital copy), brand new, for $18 last night. The cheapest everywhere else was $25. That place rocks and we wind up stopping in about once/week!
Plus, DH isn't even sure which of the collector sets he wants - the 5 disc or the 5 disc + Identity Disc for his display case.
The only one I have pre-ordered on Amz for him is the LOTR extended edition set on blu-ray since it comes out the week of DH's b'day and the used shop sometimes takes weeks/months to get good sets like that.
That's not a bad price. I really liked the original - it was pretty ground breaking for its time. There were some parts of Legacy that harkened back to the original.
