Okay ladies, it's time to swap recipes. Share a recipe that you just tried out and loved, a recipe that you've been dying to try, or one of your famous recipes.
I've been wanting to try this:

Re: Recipe Swap Thursday
This is one of my favorite comfort foods, adapted from a recipe my mom made and I have no clue where she got it from.
3 sausage links (casings removed) I use a mix of hot and sweet Italian
Italian dressing (about 1/2-3/4 cup? - I usually eyeball it)
a pinch of brown sugar
box of pasta, I generally prefer a short cut like penne or rotini
Cook pasta.
Brown sausage, breaking it up. When fully cooked, add Italian dressing and brown sugar. Let simmer for a few minutes then toss with pasta.
You can leave the sugar out; I like it because it cuts the acidity in the dressing. My mom would use 1 lb peeled and deveined shrimp instead of the sausage. It's absolutely delicious that way too. I just love the spiciness of the hot sausage.
debdeb--i love pasta alla vodka! pioneer woman has a great recipe that i follow, except i make mine low fat by using half and half or light cream and it still tastes great (better in my opinion, i hate heavy cream!) it is such an easy dinner!
here is an unclicky link (sorry, safari on my mac wont allow it) to a meal i tried this week and have fallen IN LOVE WITH--thai basil chicken. so easy. so healthy. SO GOOD:

I use more hot sauce than 1/4 cup and next time I make it I will use a little less ranch, after I bake it I stick it in the crockpot.
I love these turkey roll-ups. They are very easy to make, and they are delicious.
Ingredients:
Thick-sliced turkey
Stuffing (prepared per box instructions)
Turkey gravy
Fill each slice of turkey with some stuffing, and roll them up like burritos. Spread remaining stuffing in a casserole dish. Place turkey rolls over extra stuffing. Cover everything with gravy. Everything is technically already cooked, so you just have to warm it up in the oven a bit. I usually serve it with mashed potatoes.
I haven't made this in a while. Maybe I will this weekend while we have SD.
