f/u to my pet problem

The little booger is attention deprived it appears.  And I mean deprived, like a tween drama queen.  If we don't acknowledge his presence immediately when we come home or if *god forbid* he has to wait to go outside, that is when we've determined he pees.  Do you know how hard it is to shower a chihuahua with attention while dealing with 2 little ones?  Sheesh.  He wasn't like this with Alex, but I guess 2 is too much for him.   He seems to be fine when we aren't home, so I plan on letting him still spend the day sleeping in our bed while we are at work.  I've been trying to be super conscious of him now, but DH is another story.  As soon as he gets on board hopefully we'll have our old dog back.

Re: f/u to my pet problem

  • Aww, poor little guy!   I'm glad you seem to have it figured out, and good for you for working on it with him!   Don't be afraid to slowly cut it back, though.  Maybe the sudden decrease/change freaked him out, but you don't want him to 'rule' things either.
