maternity pictures
any rockland ladies have recommendations? g and i are thinking this might be a good idea for our baby book. how expensive was your session? TIA!

Re: maternity pictures
We had a family friend who is going to school for photography take ours. She did an amazing job. I know that doesn't help but I did have a few suggestions for shots to take?
Some of our favorites after they were taken were:
DH and I both had our "Teddies" from when we were taken, I held them next to my belly.
I laid in the grass, bare belly (I wore my bellyband over my chest). We tied a thick pink ribbon around my belly. She took a shot of my profile. It is one of my favs.
Again, while laying in the grass, she took the shot from above my head.
DH's hands wrapped around my bare belly in a
shape, my hands over his.
Don't worry about any stretchies if you have them, they can erase them post-shoot if you choose.
Enjoy, it was a great experience for us!
ETA: We also took a shot with these tiny pink baby shoes next to my belly while I was laying on my side : )

i'm a fan of christie adams in ridgewood, nj - she has a studio
we're having photos taken with tears of joy photography - she's off exit 2 on the PIP. we won the session, and i've never used her...
I used Ariana Falerni. I believe she has a package for maternity and newborn together. Her pricing has changed since I used her. But she is AMAZING. I love all my pictures and am SO happy I did them. FOr the Maternity you actually go to her home studio and for newborn, she comes to your house.
