happy about/for poll
I decided I needed a pick-me-up. So, instead of brooding over everything I can possibly still be crying over right now.. How about we look at something positive?
So, what are you happy about right now? What's going well?
For me, I'm head over heels because my childhood BFF emailed me out of nowhere. Our grandmothers were good friends, and our mothers we room mates and BFFs.. And we grew up really close. I haven't seen or heard from her in 12 years. I searched facebook for her, but she never came up. Then she emailed me because our moms had been talking, and my mom remembered to give her mom my email address 
It feels so good to reconnect with someone I used to play Barbies with and have sleep overs with.

Well, you posted this at like 4:30 this afternoon and here it is nearly 11pm but I'm gonna reply anyway. I am happy that:
- I have been having regular contractions this evening. More so than the last couple days. Woot! They are becoming more regular - especially in the last hour and a half. I am wasting time online while I attempt to time them and hope that this is the real deal.
- J's friend told him today that he wants him to start the new job ASAP (after a two week notice of course at his current job). My palms got sweaty when I heard this. lol I am nervous and insanely excited right now. The money is the same, but dudes our lifestyle will be so much more comfortable - J will actually get real vacation days AND sick days AND holidays. This stuff has been unheard of in our lives since he's been at the restaurant. Not to mention, weekends off. Holy moly.
- I finally went to a damn farmer's market and it was a beautiful day. But I am not happy that it was for real a dud. Like 6 or 7 booths. Hardly any real produce, uber expensive eggs (wtf? aren't eggs supposed to be cheaper at a farmers market?).
- My dad is healthy. No heart attack.
