Hard water= rings in the toilets
We have very hard water here in our new house. It is causing horrible rings in our toilets. Any ideas on how to fight these suckers? We have tankless pressurized low flow toilets so putting one of the drop in things in the tank is out.
We are going to hopefully have a water softener installed in the fall (after we save up money for it). But until then I need to figure out something. These rings are killin me!
Thanks!

Re: Hard water= rings in the toilets
CLR works but it works slowly.
But the best remedy I have seen (and used!) is to use a pumice stone on the stains...just like the pumice stone you would use on your feet...pumice is softer than porceline so it won't scratch toilets, and it totally worked on my disgusting, boy-infested toilet. It takes some elbow grease, but I was so happy with the results.
