Hey ladies
As most of you know, we're having a boy! YAY!
Although I am CLUELESS as to what I want to do for the baby room. I had a girl room all set lol. I wasn't planning on doing a 'set' more like a slight theme and buying crib sheets and Dani was going to help me with curtains and a bed skirt. So, what should we do?
Dave was thinking camo or paintball (NOT happening) and I was thinking medium gray walls with yellow and blue accents.... I thought that would look cool.
Maybe boats or something. I'm so indecisive. HELP!!

Re: Baby Boy Nursery Ideas
No suggestions but here's what we did:
I found a bedding set that I loved, on a great sale - it was just blue and green. We painted Ben's walls alternating colors, so he had 2 blue and 2 green walls (with white trim). We hung the quilt from the set up on the wall (since you can't really use it anyway). The set came with a crib skirt that we still use on his toddler bed. His bumper has been in a box since day one, oh well. We used breathable ones, white. For sheets I just bought white, light blue, and dark blue to match his crib skirt. White curtains. Then just fun accessories on the wall.
So no theme at all, I'm not a theme girl. I prefer colors. I painted his wall letters to match the bedding colors, scored a blue area rug and some navy blue frames that worked, some $1 green turtle and frog wood things at Joanns. and VOILA - done ;-)

Some cute boy rooms I saw when googling around (including a couple with boats):

this was our boy plan:
OMG totally just figured it out.
Dark grey walls. Nautical theme- boats and fish and stuff for bedding. Don't know about curtains. And THIS wall decal: http://www.etsy.com/listing/65189861/vinyl-wall-decal-art-palm-trees?ref=sr_gallery_5&ga_search_query=palm+tree+wall+decal&ga_search_type=handmade&ga_facet=handmade

I like your Nautical idea, and you're likely going to have a lot of options for that "theme"... sailboats, anchors, lighthouses, etc. http://www.interiordesignonadime.com/how-to-design-a-nautical-theme-bedroom-or-living-room/
But, honestly, my brain started spinning with ideas for a paintball themed room! There are vinyl decals for paint splatter, or you could do it yourself (flicking paintbrushes, sacrificing a watergun and squirting the walls, etc.)... There are even sheets / fabrics that have a paint splatter. I would have had an awesome time designing a nursery around that theme (and will have to keep that in mind if/when my cousin ever has kids, as it would be RIGHT up his alley!!).
I don't have any suggestions. I just wanted to say congrats on a boy!! Yay!!
It's funny, 2 years ago there was an explosion of girls on the board, and now a ton of us recently have had boys! Funny how that happens.
