I think my husband may strangle me TMI warning
So note to self don't schedule a semen analysis the same day your husband has a huge interview. Its just a little more pressure then he can stand! I'm glad I got out of the class I was supposed to go to this morning bc he conviently forgot about his am appt. He was super testy this morning. He was annoyed that I was getting a billion text from my friend at work. Then he yelled at me bc i couldnt remember exactly where we were going. Um ive been here once 8 months ago. This clinic has a side entrance for the men coming in too do their thing. We walk in and its a little vestibule and 2 rooms with leather recliners and visual aid material. Oh I should mention that before know we've just collected his sample at home. Then Id break several laws racing it to the hospital keeping it warm between my cleavage LOL. The new clinic requires in clinic samples. So anyhow the lab lay comes out tells him there are some directions and ask if w would be collecting it together. Um didn't know that was an option. H replies Im not sure. The lab lady say well you do know why your here right? He says I do now. WTF?! It was all very awkard!!

Oh my. I picked out several points of humor in that story. Was he testy with you or teste?? I thought he had to abstain for a day before giving the sample and if you just *ahem* collected it at home, could he do this again at the clinic?

Buckswife- Cheer away!! I was going to post this morning asking for super sperm vibes but I ran out of time. There is nothing modest or pleasant about this whole experience so Ill take humor whenever I can get it.

We didnt collect at home this time. If you collect at home they want the specimen there with in 15-30 mins. This new clinic is 28 mins from our house without traffic so its a no go on home collection. They require 1-3 days abstinence (which by the way is kind of hard to plan out). Tuesday night was the last time we DTD.
I feel for him. I have probably made this appt over 10 times now for him and he always had me cancel it at the last min. I was not letting him out of it this time.
No I didnt assist. I didnt get a chance to read their directions but I'm sure they are the same as the last labs. No lube of any kind (lotion, spit etc). So I'm not exactly sure how I was going to help out. I think my giving him a dry hand job would be worse then just leaving him to his own devices.
By the time I got done posting the that post he was done so he must not have had too much difficulty. We have not nor do I think we will discuss it at all LOL. We actually didnt talk at all until after he came out of the barber shop. Now he seems fine. If I would have thought he would have gotten his but there by himself in the first place I wouldnt have gone. Now that he knows where it is and what the drill is I'll never tag along again unless we both have appts or he ask.
I'm not sure how long it will be before we here anything on it. The test should be complete by the end of the day and its in house so the dr will know something ASAP. I'm guessing if something is wrong Ill hear from them by Monday at the latest. Otherwise I just call the clinic when AF shows up and we get this show on the road.

Hysterical but true. I had to do that not once but 4 times!!!!!!!!!!! The worse part was that I was taking it to the hospital I work at. So of course the min I step foot through the doors of the hospital I would run into someone who would want to chit chat. I'd have to say gotta run and hope they didnt notice my 3rd boob. It was easy to conceal it in the winter months when I had a heavy coat on but the 2 times I had to do it in May I had to get more creative.
