Just kidding. I have a lot of friends who don't like baseball, it's too slow for them.
I didn't know what MLB stood for....

Melissa - you didn't over react. I grew up going to Ranger games and then we had this super awesome season last year. I got to wear jeans to work every time they played so, I'm hoping they do awesome again.
Larissa - I'm an avid hockey and baseball fan. It's just the American way. Nasty stadium hot dogs when it's 1000 degrees out - it just doesn't get any better than that. However, I used to work for the Stars and LOVE them so, it's hard for me to pick one of over the other. I do understand the frustration though. They overlap...a lot!

Baseball is not my friend. I've tried to get into it - and I'm a Red Sox and Giants fan [not a bandwagon - been fans of them since before this past decade] - but I just don't have the patience to sit in front of the TV and watch that slow-moving of a game. I'll just watch SportsCenter for the highlights. I will admit, if there's a no-hitter going, I'll turn and watch. Or if the game is really close and high-scoring...I'm there.
The bad thing about baseball starting: NBA season's nearly over. Good thing: by the time baseball starts to wind down, college football will be back in my life. Big, big win.
This is totally me. I love the sport, loved playing softball and going to games, but watching it on tv puts me to sleep. Of course, most sports on tv put me to sleep. Except for college basketball.
