My DD is turning 1 soon...need some BD party ideas???? Anyone ever have it at the impossible dream playground?
Re: Birthday party ideas??
I so wanted to have a party there, but being in early April, I wasn't sure how weather would be - I think I heard that the room isn't air conditioned, so I assumed it might not be heated well as well. I'm still considering it in the future when she'd older though.
We are having G's at home - Tinkerbell themed.
To get ideas, DH & I walked through an Iparty looking at all the themes and decorations - that was a good start. I ultimately ordered all the supplies from www.partycity.com, but it was neat to see all the themes in ideas in person.
How many people are you having? Will there be a lot of children? If there are a bunch of kids that will need entertaining, the Impossible Dream is a good choice. If there aren't too many, I would keep it low key. I'm pretty sure they have heat in the building because they do rent it out in the wintertime, as we looked into it for DS1 in November.
The 1st birthday is more for the adults than the child. In choosing a theme, we decided to just go with the #1 theme, until DS1 can tell us what characters/theme he woud like to have.
I love love love Impossible Dream.
That being said I've never been to a bday party there. They have the big building which I has a kitchen.. its blue. They also have the building in the back of the playground (it's always closed and you can peek in the windows) and then they have just the covered tables.
I was just looking at pricing, and it seemed pretty cheap.
I'm not sure how many kids you are looking to have, but what about Learn all about it in the Chrismas Tree Shop plaza? We went to story time there last Sat and they are willing to work with you on pricing.
