Happy Friday!

Whew, so glad the weekend is here! What's everyone up to this weekend?

We're going to look at a couple of houses tomorrow and a few more on Sunday. Other than that, no plans!

Re: Happy Friday!

  • oooh I am so excited for you to look at houses!

We have so much going on this weekend I am exhausted just thinking about it.  I actually have to get out to do some erranding now because I will have no time this weekend.  I have to buy two child birthday gifts for two different birthday parties...I have no idea what I am going to get either one!

  • I've had a cold all week and I'm hoping I can kick it this weekend. Not doing anything too crazy. I might drag DH to Buy Buy Baby or something... and then he'll watch the Final 4.
  • My usual Friday night with my friends is tonight. It's my turn for dinner which means I'm ordering pizza. lol

Tomorrow-my poor car is overdue for an oil change.  We usually do coffee in the morning with my parents, then DH goes to work at 330 so i am on my own. Maybe finally having a movie night with FBIL's gf.

  • We have a wedding in NY this weekend so we'll be hanging down there.
I'd rather be rock climbing or playing volleyball

  • Lady E., can I live vicariously through your house hunt? I realized yesterday that we are much further off than I'd like to be on that front.  Sigh.

As for the weekend, meh. Tomorrow, we're going to NH to have lunch with my in-laws for my mother-in-law's birthday. I'm cranky, and I don't want to go. Not because I don't like them, but because a) we just saw them two or three weeks ago, and b) I had a really long week, (including a 24-hour trip to DC on Monday/Tuesday), and I just want to not have to be anywhere at any particular time this weekend.

  • I'm apartment hunting this weekend, that is if anyone gets back to me. Hopefully I can talk BF into going out somewhere for dinner on Sat. Other than that, no real plans. Lame I know.
  • Happy Friday!

Tomorrow I'll be hanging out with H for a little while before he leaves for a bachelor party. Then I'll probably spend the rest of the day with MIL since FIL is going with H.

Sunday is H's birthday! We'll probably go do dinner or something. Not sure yet... I guess it depends on what he wants to do.

  • Me too! This has been a rough week!

Tonight we are meeting up with friends at Angry Ham's Garage for pizza and drinks. Tomorrow we start moving stuff to the new place, should get a couple of car loads done.  DH is doing side work on Sunday, so I'll try to get some more moving done.  Fun, fun!

  • DH is still OOT until late Sunday night. I already had breakfast with some friends and their babies and ran to Target. Tonight I am meeting another friend and her baby for appetizers (though I will probably not have anything, still full from lunch).

I am not sure what we are doing tomorrow- depends on the weather.

  • I found out last night upon trying to pick up DH from school that our car is completely dead.  The break lights have been sticking, and I guess they were on and killed the battery.  Worst part is we have underground garage parking with a 6 foot 8 inch ceiling, so we can't call a tow.  And it's our only car.  Looks like we're walking the mile and a half to the auto place to get a battery and walk back with one.

Other than that, I'm supposed to go to a kid's birthday party but don't know if I'll have a way there yet.  Yikes, my weekend kind of stinks.

Of course! And when you are ready, I'll be able to answer all of your questions!

  • I am so jealous of everyone that has the weekend off!! I have to work tomorrow and Sunday and every day next week. Ugh. I hope DH and I can do omething together at some point.
  • I literally did nothing today. H had to work all day, and we slept a little later than usual because we were up late last night and for some reason the dog didn't start his incessant "feed me" barking as earlier as he normally does. Anyways, here I am and its almost 9pm and I realized that I actually really literally got nothing accomplished today. I had all these dreams of laundry, or baking, or work stuff, or even homework that needs finishing... but I did none of it! I cuddled my dog, I watched a movie, did some nesting, read a magazine. Its weird because I feel simultaneous guilt for extreme rare laziness, yet man oh man, doing nothing for one day is SO GOOD.
