While at Godiva this morning getting truffles for the welcome back mommy pack (thanks for your suggestions!), my friend saw me in the window and asked what I was getting. I told her about the pack and she said I was sweet. I'd like to take all the credit for it but I really owe you all a moment of thanks.
We are all at different milestones and while I like to think I am nice person, this forum has opened my eyes so much and made me more sensitive to my fellow human beings.
I've been a proud HV nestie since 2007 and since then have shared a number of special moments with you all. If it weren't for you all you mommys sharing the hard ships of ttc, back aches, birth stories, the decisions to stay home or work outside the home I would not have thought the first day back is so rough. Thanks to you I have been introduced to a number of things in the hudson valley and online. We may not all see eye to eye or get along all the time but when push comes to shove, HV Nesties will have your back.
So thanks for being part of my life, sharing yours and making me a better (and slightly wiser) person.
P.S. this sounded a whole lot better in my head but you get the point.
