Omaha Zoo?

Has anyone been to the Omaha Zoo this early in the year? It's supposed to be 65 in Omaha on Saturday and we were thinking about taking the girls.

I've taken my nephews this early before, it was a few years ago, but still, just as nice. They DO have animals out and what not, LOVED going through the desert part, for warmth! LOL I think if it's going to be 65 go for it! might need a light jacket or something but should be JUST FINE

I have - it's not bad, and probably won't be as crowded since it's not spring break and summer vacation hasn't started. I've also been in the heat of the summer, and was pretty miserable. It was packed and I was sweaty. Should be fun!

We were there last fall during similar weather and it was great. Not crowded, still plenty of animals out and they have so many indoor exhibits that it's worth the money even if they don't have many outside animals out.

Just got back today from the zoo. We only go in march. You pretty much have each exhibit to yourself.

Thanks Ladies!! Can't wait for our trip tomorrow. New forecast says it's only supposed to be 60 but we are driving out today, going to stay at a nice hotel with pool and let the kids swim tomorrow. Figure then they can take a late morning nap and head to the zoo after lunch when it's a bit warmer.
