I'm just excited for the cake!!!
Don't get me wrong, I am really excited about our first anniversary and going out to eat and the whole 9...but...I'm SO pumped for the cake! I hope it is still good! The tips I have read on the internet say to leave it in the fridge overnight, then the counter for about 4 hours. Plus, ours is big enough that we each can have a piece Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Yea, buddy!
Re: I'm just excited for the cake!!!
We ate the top of our cake (as much as we could) the day after our wedding because our cake baker told us that she would make us a new topper! Although I kind of wish we had saved the original.

i'm so excited to eat our cake, we didn't touch a piece of it. I keep meaning to google information on how to defrost it and keep forgetting. I hope it still tastes yummy

Taking a break from being poked and prodded
The cake, yes! We are also having our baker do a new "top layer", which we're picking up the week of our anniversary. We ate our top layer on our HM...we plan to eat it all before we go away, though!!!
Enjoy - I have heard from several people that frozen cake when thawed slowly is very delicious!
