I am really looking into buying an ergo or beco carrier...maybe two. I do have a Moby also that I wear around the house and I could wear when we go out sometimes, but I would like something sturdier. The second carrier would be for H, he has no problem with baby wearing but says he will not use a Moby, he already hates me using it because he thinks it looks unsafe.
Any advice or tips on carriers you love or hate?
Also...any nesties looking to get rid of a gently used carrier? They're quite pricey and I keep getting mixed reviews on how much they will actually get used. I went a little crazy pre-preg buying two of everything and I am trying not to make that mistake again.
Re: Baby carrier q's
I bought mine used off Ragazza and I only used it a handful of times when I was flying. It was really handy at the airport because it allowed my hands to be free and it was one less thing to put the x-ray machine.
But other than the airport, I never really used it outside of the house. From time to time I would do household chores with Macy strapped in, but I don't think I used it enough to justify buying it brand new. I think they are like $90 new?
Have you thought about e-bay or craigslist? You may have some luck there!
Baby Macy is here!

I used the Moby more when DS was little around the house and for walks in our neighborhood.
Now if we are out and use the carrier, H like to carry DS since he's 19 lbs(!). We couldn't justify the cost based on how little we use it. We bought the Infantino one below and think it works perfect. And $30 isn't bad.

Have you looked into ring slings? If you have the time (I imagine you don't, but just in case...) they are fairly easy to make.
And like Kathy said, try craigslist. I would maybe also lurk on the AP board. You can see mommas selling used carriers all the time over there and get some reviews of what some of the moms over there like.
I have gone to http://www.thebabywearer.com to check out wraps, slings, and ways to wear twins (or the way to wear just one baby in a certain type of sling.)
This is what I like to hear! lol. H and I are pretty active and are always out and about on the weekends in downtown St. Pete or wherever and when we are together it just seems easier to not always have the stroller. Plus they usually just fall asleep in it which is OK now but as they get older I don't think they should be napping all day. I asked this question on the multiples board and got so many mixed reviews!!
Yes, it's definitely nice not to always have to lug a double stroller around and I think think they can see the world better in the carriers! (when they are front facing that is)
