So we got a call yesterday for a placement, but we turned it down. Details in the blog. In short it was a very messy situation.
Today I woke up at 4am and couldn't fall back to sleep so I started working on portfolio and then did my own private karaoke with my itunes collection.
This weekend is the shower/bachelorette party for FSIL. Should be a good time. I organized a wine tasting and dinner for the party, so I hope that goes well.

Happy Friday! We have another snowstorm and snow day...grrrr. And the worst part was that I woke up before my alarm, looked outside, there was very little snow and nothing sticking. I checked online about school, nothing called. I decided to give it 10 more minutes before getting up, just to be safe. Got up at 5:40, made coffee, got in the shower. The call came at 5:46...ARG! So, I am up and showered and Ed and I just got back from going out to breakfast.
No big plans for today or the weekend. I'll get a few runs in, probably paint our bedroom, finish up my grades for the quarter, but that's about it. We were supposed to have friends over for dinner, but since the weather is going to be crappy all day and they live almost an hour away, I am thinking that isn't going to happen. Oh well, more baked ziti for me!

Well I woke of to a little bit of snow, so as usual got ready for work, about to walk outside and got the call. 2 hour delay. Seriously, the roads look worse now then they did earlier. I'm hoping that there is a slight chance that they will just call of work. That doesn't happen to often though.
Otherwise, we are hopefully going minivan shopping tomorrow, and hanging out with some friends at some point.

I'm also going wine tasting this weekend and then having everyone over my house for dinner. I've already complained about why I am not excited for it, so I won't do that again. It'll be nice to see my friends, hopefully its more fun than I am expecting to have....

Today will be not too busy at work, then V and I have a dress rehearsal for our concert tomorrow night. We're also finally getting our couches delivered tomorrow... so excited to have something to sit on other than our dining chairs lol.
Then on Sunday we're dropping off Sherlock at kaesha's place again because we're heading out to the Bahamas for a week!

I love the Northeast and have always wanted to move back there, but the weather you guys are having definitely stops me. It is 53 right now, which sucks, but the high is supposed to be 77 today.
I just found out that a coworker that I really don't like is leaving the end of April. While that is good, that now makes 7 open positions in our team of only 21 people. Anyone wanna move to Florida? If you have a Bachelors, I'll get you a job here!
I'm just heading out to work. Got a quck 5 miles in this morning and now I work until 6pm. DH is making tacos for dinner and then I'm going out for coffee with a couple friends.
Boo...I have to work Saturday and Sunday this weekend.
Good morning! Nothing too exciting here except that it's Friday. This weekend can't come soon enough. Yesterday I basically had to kill time all day at work because they had to take away my access to everything so that they could then give me back access to everything. Apparently there was one office who didn't want to grant me access to a program that I needed. They couldn't figure out who I was. The name change from almost 2 years ago was too confusing for them. Seriously. Don't other people ever change their names? I don't understand how something so simple could be so complicated.
Anyway, no major plans this weekend. I have some shows on the DVR to catch up on tonight and some basketball to watch tomorrow. I'm also hoping to visit a friend of mine who had a baby recently.
Morning! Derek told me he was pregnant this morning. April Fools! Boys.....
We're off to the inlaws tonight. Derek's dad got us a window for the new kitchen, so hopefully we can finally get going on that.
Tomorrow Tim and Shannon are taking the kiddos to see the Jay's game, and then we're meeting them at their house for a visit. Tim has told everyone that there's no crying allowed if they come to visit, but apparently all bets are off for then he see's Derek.
We'll just not tell H about this little fact, m'kay?

I am sick as a dog. I feel like an elephant is sitting on my chest. I am so glad it's Friday so I can rest a little and my mom is here so she gets to take care of me this weekend!
Today, we have our 1st appointment with our OB and that will be our last appointment for 4 weeks. I feel like going to the Dr. is my part time job right now.

Good morning! Last night was a work party. It was pretty fun. My boss's blueberry vodka lemonade was amazing. My throat hurts from talking so much. I came into work today to see some remaining cupcakes. Cupcakes for breakfast! Yeah.
Today should be good. Two of my friends from college are coming to my office for lunch and bringing Thai and tonight DH and I if the weather cooperates are going to walk. We usually walk a few miles each evening but with me being sick and the weather being awful we haven't had the chance.
Morning, all. Nothing much going on over here--last night H came home late again, super-stressed. So happy the weekend's here for him, but I told him to envision the Caribbean Sea when he gets annoyed today. I'm running in the Cherry Blossom 10 mile race on Sunday--tomorrow is packet pick-up and I'm hoping to buy a long-sleeve half-zip top with a pocket for my phone at the expo (since apparently I need it thanks to this crazy weather). I hope it goes well! I would like to smash my time from the 2009 race. I feel good about it.
I wish the co-worker I didn't like would leave . . . I just fled my desk for half an hour so I wouldn't have to talk to her. Ugh.

Tonight Jordan will be spending the night with my Aunt that invited him over and My sister voluntered to come sit with Preston after he goes to sleep. SInce he goes to sleep at 7 me and Eli are going to go eat and get groceries.
Tomorrow morning Me and a friend are going to a few garage sales in the area and then Jordan's soccer game at 9:30. I was bummed about Eli having to work Saturday night sine we got invited to a crawfish boil at his friends house and I would have loved to go. O well the weekend must go on so I am taking the kids for easter pictures on saturday afternoon instead.
Sunday will be church and dinner with family to celebrate my grandmothers 85th birthday! Hopefully rest and relaxing after that!

Morning! I took a much needed mental health day, so I am sitting on the couch in my pj's. Once I get motivated, I plan on cleaning and hopefully unpacking some more boxes.
DH's birthday is on Sunday, so we are going out to dinner Saturday night to a new Italian BYOB right in town. They have regular food, but also a ton of varieties of brick oven pizza. Yum!

I'll be posting and running! Today is my concealed weapon class for work. I'm so pissed a have to spend 8 hours on a 70 degree day in a dumb class! We won't even get to touch a gun until our shooting range class next week. Boring!

Today I took a comp day for working last Saturday. It's kind of sucky, since I finally slept like a baby last night and the snow wasn't really all that bad this morning. Oh well. I'll enjoy some Food Network and cookies and milk for the rest of the afternoon.
Last night one of the pups took a nasty spill while running up our deck stairs. She's still limping this morning, but I've moved her leg around and nothing really seems to be hurt anywhere. Hopefully she can sort of walk it off in the next day or 2. The dogs are crazy with running all over sometimes, so maybe this will make her slow down a bit for a while. She seems to be the only one having such a hard time transitioning to the wood floors from carpet, too. Graceful, just like her momma.
Tomorrow night is sushi with some friends we haven't seen in a while and Sunday is some girl time with my long lost BFF that I feel like I haven't seen in years.
Don't temp me!! We have wind gusts of 45-60mph. Work has also sucked, I had two girls going at me all week. Then I had a coworker cut my legs out from underneath when a group was called out on these girls. It turns out that she had been helping this girl justify her behavior all evening. This coworker then told my boss I cried with resident, which was not true. GRRRR. On the bright side I have 3 days off including a Saturday. I am going to go drink beer and watch some Rockies baseball with my dad.
