Happy Friday! Tonight is dinner for my Best Friend's Birthday and tomorrow I'm taking her to see Lisa Lampanelli. I was supposed to go with my hubby but his friend from Maryland will be in town so they'll hang out together while we're at the show.

We have very few plans... I'm on my own tonight so I might head to the gym. Tomorrow I'm just going to do some cleaning and errands - the house looks like a bomb went off in it.

On Sunday, we're invited to a friend's house for appetizers and sangria.

Heading to San Diego tomorrow! I'll be there until Tuesday night when I fly out again. Just hanging with my mom, going to the zoo and having fun!

We're going to a special little girl's first birthday party tomorrow. Excited to see some friends I haven't seen in a long time!

Too many plans!

Working late tonight. House warming tomorrow afternoon (at a house we actually looked at while house hunting), followed by seeing French film The Illusionist as part of a local film festival.

Sunday we have a barbecue. Somewhere in there I want to paint two rooms. Tongue Tied

Studying and the reorganizing our garage by putting the holiday/winter stuff away and pulling out the spring/summer and camping stuff up front!!!

TGIF! My only plans this weekend are to finish our childbirth/parenting classes. Otherwise I am going to relax as much as possible and try to get some more knitting done on the blanket I want to have finished before baby is here.

Tomorrow I'm getting a haircut and my hair has grown a bit since the last one in December, finish grocery shopping and spending the $50 gift card to Home Depot that my boss gave us. We desperately need to get some window film/tint for our dining/patio door since we get the afternoon sun from 3-7pm there and it makes this part of the house warm. Sunday, going for a run or hike with our dog and vegging out since H works both Sat. and Sun. Oh, I also have to touch up the second bathroom since I did a mediocre job last weekend.

I need to finish my cover letter for interviewing next week. I'm going to do some laundry and we need groceries. Yeah, exciting stuff I know. I may go to a tea tomorrow. Not sure yet.

We're BFF's these days. My MIL isn't thrilled with her choice in partners (sound familiar?) so she feels like she can relate and sympathize with me. So she loves me. Asking for wedding help, asking when I can come up and help with making pomanders, asking me to go wedding dress shopping with her...NM that her wedding is 3 weeks after my first child is due (even though she got engaged last week). I'm pretending I haven't noticed that part of it and just enjoying the rest Stick out tongue

We've got a ton going on this weekend, I'm getting kinda tired just thinking about it all. DH's cousin is visiting from Vermont to scope out the area so she can move here (an idea I fully support 'cause she's great), so we want to show her as much as we can. Tomorrow I'm really hoping to make it to an 8am yoga class and then come home and make everyone my special applesauce/muesli pancakes. Then looking at a house. Then we're visiting some friends and their twins on their houseboat on our way up to SF for the rest of the day. On Sunday, more yoga (though at 9:15 instead of 8...BIG difference), then checking out 2-3 more houses, and spending the afternoon with DH's other cousin and his family. And somewhere in there we need to take our car in for its 30k mile service appt. And i have to finish my audiology lab. And study for my neurology test on Tues. Ugh, I need a nap!

. They booked a venue. It was originally going to be two weeks earlier, so I think they think the new date is favorable enough. I know she just doesn't have a clue because she told T she wants me to be able to dance and drink and have a good time. You know, between two hours nursings of my newborn child

...it's the thought that counts, I suppose. It's her wedding. I will do my best to be there, but I'm not going to try to change her mind about the date. Definitely not ideal though.
