Maine Nesties
Dear Community,
Our tech team has launched updates to The Nest today. As a result of these updates, members of the Nest Community will need to change their password in order to continue participating in the community. In addition, The Nest community member's avatars will be replaced with generic default avatars. If you wish to revert to your original avatar, you will need to re-upload it via The Nest.
If you have questions about this, please email help@theknot.com.
Thank you.
Note: This only affects The Nest's community members and will not affect members on The Bump or The Knot.
Several of you have made videos with your collection of pictures. I thought Vimeo was used, but I don't see anything on there for this. Any suggestions? Wanted to make one of DD's first year. TIA!
Re: Pictures into video
Carly's method is likely the easiest if you are looking to burn it to a DVD and have a PC. (iMovie is the Mac equivalent.)
I've used Animoto before but there are many limitations to the free version including the length and the music. I also use ShowItWeb, but that's definitely designed for pros based on the price tag.
Bottom line, try iMovie or Windows Movie Maker.
I used iMovie then into iDVD to burn. It came out FANTASTIC! If you have a Mac, I would go with this.
There is also photostory if you have a PC which is free to download and easy to use and comes out great.
