murr 23 and my baby update
So I saw Dr bhangoo today and apprently my child is way to comfy in there...I am still not dialating....she is very concerned over me having a csection so she pushed my induction back 
i go back to her next thursday have a sono thursday and then will be induced sunday the 10th if needed. Having the baby the 11th! She really wants me to go on my own and not have to be induced. I am so sad I Just hate waiting for this little boy to arrive.

aww, i know waiting is the hardest part. it sounds like you have a good doc though. a lot of docs are quick to C these days. which you dont want.
walking? eggplant parm for dinner? good luck!
oh Chris i hope Baby comes on his own. I'm off next week so i will walk with you.
Have you tried Labor Cookies?
This waiting does suck, but I realize it happens for a reason. They are just not ready yet. I really thought I would go early since I showed some progress and had dd on her due date, but he had other plans. Like I said before, I showed no progress, no dilation w/dd but went into labor 4 days later. It will happen and it's the best for the baby even though it's driving us crazy. I've already cleaned my house top to bottom, washed everything, gone food shopping, got all his stuff ready, pretty much over-nested to the point that I have nothing left to do. So now I'm trying to enjoy the calm before the storm (napping, watching movies, surfing the net, and spending alot of mommy/daughter time w/Sam).
WHat are Labor cookies?
I know waiting is the right thing and not having a csection I am just so miserable!

CHAR I am laughing because the Dr has told us everytime walk more and have more sex....NOT WORKING though
i had spicy food last night again and it hasnt done a thing 
i am about to try anything though:)
Hang in there. I was 10 days late and tried everything. Red raspberry tea, labor cookies, eggplant parm, awful sex, walking, spicy food. I was terrified of the castor oil but was VERY close to trying it several times. I was scared of A) vomiting
diarrhea and it still not working and/or C) diarrhea and going into labor and having the runs the whole time and while pushing. So never tried it.
Coming from someone who was induced, wait it out if you can. My induction failed and I ended up with a c-section. The c/s wasnt bad but I was disappointed that all my hard work during the 26 hours of labor didnt pay off. Big hugs

Chris he'll be out soon. I cannot do the waiting game I am beyond inpatient. So I can only imagine how you must feel. This is why I know peanut#2 birthday as I scheduled my csection at my 1st appointment lol.
Come have lunch with me again this week, PLEASE, this time the girls should be at work too. We'll try talking him out again...

Hang in there! I know the end is hard. At my 40 week appt. I was totally closed up...no dilation, not effaced, nothing, just like you. Like your OB, mine wanted to give everything a chance to happen on it's own so she didn't want to rush a c-section. I was certain nothing would happen on it's own! Then my water broke 2 days later!
Keep an eye out for your muscus plug when you go to the bathroom too. If you lose that then that most likley means labor will start in 24-48 hours.
