I think April Fools Day is stupid. I mean, it was fun when we were younger, but now...I just think it's a dumb way for people to say "Oh, I'm pregnant!" or "Oh, I'm getting married!" without getting the side eye [for the most part] when they say it's fake.

I have eaten WAY too much crappy food the last three weeks. Today, I start my Vegas workout - and I've considered hiring a personal trainer to help me out during my lunch hour, because right now, my motivation to work out is at zero. But, I want to feel better and get healthy, so I'm sucking it up and doing it.

This is lame, but I was rather annoyed so here it is. Last weekend my parents came over and asked BF if his parents were going to be visiting anytime soon (they live out of state). At that point I learn they'll be coming here in the next month or so for the niece's first communion. I wasnt' so annoyed that somehow he forgot to tell me this first, but I was most annoyed that the whole family is descending upon Oklahoma for this kid's first communion. I realize it's important to them, but it's not important to me. At all. We went to her sister's first communion two years ago and it was awful. BF and his brother got in a huge, awful argument the night before we had to go to church, and the brother basically called BF out on all his religious beliefs/non-beliefs in front of the whole family. If it wasn't for BF's family and all these christenings and communions and such, we wouldn't ever go to church but he feels guilty if we don't go. I just don't understand why we have to be respectful of their beliefs all the time and go to church with them, but they can't be respectful of our belief system and be ok about us NOT going. Oh well, I'm sure we'll just suck it up and go. Tongue Tied

So, one of my coworkers is involved in a love triangle. Apparently there have been a lot of new developments so her, another girl and I are going to lunch to discuss. There are several others that usually lunch with us but those girls are EXTREMELY judgey so we didn't invite them. I don't think we all have to go to lunch together all the time and as a matter of fact -they go to lunch together all the time and don't invite me (granted, I am their boss, but still). Anyway, I am clearly unsympathetic and if they would be less judgey perhaps they would get to be involved in the good stuff.

I love April Fool's day and jokes. I am not referring to the mean spirited ones as in "Yay, I am preggers" or "My dog died" but those that poke fun! I always play some type of prank and today I tied some thread on the underneath of dh's drawer and it wouldn't open. He was so perplexed and I laughed until I cried.

I called in sick today. 1. Because I have killer cramps today and 2. I wanted to sleep in. DH took M to daycare and I slept in and planning on going to the grocery store this afternoon. It feels great and I'm not one bit feeling guilty about it.

Haha! That's pretty funny!

A few of us just pulled some pranks on a coworker. She was at lunch, so we put tape over the mouthpiece part of her phone, taped a little piece of paper on the bottom of her mouse over the red light thingy so her mouse wouldn't move, and hung her keys by a string from the ceiling. It was really funny! She came back, thought her computer was frozen since the mouse wouldn't move so she restarted and called our computer guy (who was in on it). Well he couldn't hear her very well because of the tape on her phone. She eventually figured it all out, but it was hilarious seeing her so confused!

#1: I dislike group projects (especially with unmotivated and unorganized members). I just finished a huge project for class. I could only depend on one member out of five. I put in a lot time and effort into the project. Based on their research and performance, they did not. I hope I get a better grade than the other members. I do not want them getting credit for work that I did.

#2: The dependable member of my group was pregnant. I was a little jealous. I am anxious to have kids. Graduation can't get here soon enough.

I posted the u/s picture on facebook yesterday. I think most people didn't think it was true. I am interested to see how work goes Monday. Most good friends and family knows.
