  • :(  Sorry you aren't having any success.  I COMPLETELY understand your frustration!

Out of curiosity (and you may have told me before, but I have forgotten) how many months have you been TTC now?  This April will be the one year mark for us (actually my b-day in 2 weeks) and I never in a million years thought it would take us this long :(

11 months.  Guess I didn't need to spend my 20's and the first few years of my 30's worried about BC...  :(

I know what you mean.  I think back to the few times where I was scared about an unplanned pregnancy and I laugh and say "aww, how cute."  If only pregnancy was as easy as they lead us to believe when we were 16!

I was seeing Dr. Mayer at USF too. He's great, very informative and willing to explain or answer any questions. I haven't seen him in a while since the holidays because we took a break from TTC. We are back in the game and I was getting ready to contact him but AF came back regular twice with no medication so we're giving it a try just doing things on our own and see what happens. Anyways, I highly recommend him.

  • Thanks for the recommendation.  DH and I decided it's time, as I'm pretty regular and our timing has been spot on.  I'm compiling a list of questions to ask my insurance company, and calling them on Monday to make sure I 100% understand what's covered and what's not before I start making appointments.

That's cool that you see him too! I also haven't seen him since Dec. I don't go to him regularly, I've only gone when I've decided to schedule tests and stuff. I like that you can email him with questions.

  • I highly recommend the Reproductive Medicine Group. All of the doctors have great reputations, but I have been seeing Dr. Goodman since I was 17 for gyno. I love that she is so friendly and personable and explains everything to me so I know exactly what to expect.

  • One of my BFF's sees her as well and feels the same way you do. I go to the same group & see Dr. Tarrantino.  I am very very happy with him as well.

United.  We have a PPO.  I was so busy with work today I didn't get a chance to call them, but it looks like we have pretty good coverage (from what I've gathered talking to a couple of friends who have done IVF).  Don't know if we'll have to go that route, but it's good to have that reassurance.  I'll be calling in the next day or two, just to have them confirm what I'm reading.
