Weekend plans!

Hi Ladies!  What are you up to this rainy weekend?  I hope its something good.  Happy Friday, all!

Re: Weekend plans!

  • Hey BusyBride, long time no see. How are you?

Today heading home to rest and relax - feeling a bit under the weather. Maybe order in some Chinese or something, with DH.

Saturday: some guys are coming early to remove one of the two oil boilers we found in our basement after some demo. I have a church service to attend which is great timing because I suspect the boiler removal is a noisy affair. Then laundry. Relaxing.

Sunday: church, then supposed to meet up with a gal pal for matinee (I hope I feel better then).

    Have a great weekend!

  • Tonight, we're relaxing, watching Red, have been meaning to rent it for a while, and just got it. Tomorrow, we're getting groceries and cleaning. Tomorrow night, DH has to pick his parents up at the airport and then heading to our friends' housewarming party. Sunday, we're hosting a party for MIL's birthday, so that should be interesting.

    Have a lovely weekend, ladies!

  • My ILs are in town for the weekend so we are busy!

Tonight I had rehearsal, and we had a laid back bbq night (my hubby bbqs in all weather!).

Tomorrow is G's first swim lesson!  I am so excited!

Sunday we are going to the Bronx Zoo, G's first zoo trip.

Ooh, Danielle, I'm so excited for G to start swim lessons! Sasha started at right around the same age and absolutely adored them. We're starting the new "semester" on Monday, and I'm really looking forward to them! And have fun at the zoo!

Big weekend for G!! Good luck and have fun!!

Last weekend our plans to see MIL were cancelled so we are going Saturday. I am hoping that LittleP cooperates and stays with her for a while so we can go to the Target and do some shopping.

And Sunday, I hope, we are going to start doing taxes. I think my dad will be coming over so we all can do ours together. Or at least start them.

And most of the weekend will be consumed with ways to get eyedrops into LittleP's pink eye. What a freaking joy.

  • Last night i met up with DH and 2 guy friends at the bar Professor Thoms to watch the Red Sox play their opening game. It was standing room only and really loud, so i only lasted thru the 7th inning. A school friend and her bf came, so the 3 of us left early and walked over to Heartland Brewery. Then the other 3 came and we had burgers. It was really fun!! And a bit weird to be sitting in an NYC restaurant wearing our Red Sox shirts out in the open... ;)

Today and tomorrow: nothing is planned. I kinda promised DH an 'us' weekend since i've been so busy with school...although i have 2 reading assignments to finish up...

Oh, and i think tonight we're heading to a friend's bday party at her apartment. She and her friends are all younger than us, so we'll see how long we last. ;)

  • Everyone sounds like they are having a great time!  On the agenda this weekend is my thesis and our taxes.  Exhilarating.
