i just finished the book 'a lion call christian'. it's about the guys in the '70s who bought a lion cub at harrod's department store in london and after keeping him for six months were able to take him to africa and reintroduce him to the wild. a year later they came back to see him. if you've never seen the youtube video of their reunion, here it is:

Seriously? WTH is wrong with me? I sobbed through that video. Ugh...
I'd like to think that even if I had lived with a lion for year I wouldnt want it jumping up to great me like that after a year in the wild. That is crazy!! Its amazing how excited the lion was to see them.
you want to know what happens after since you're probably not going to read it? don't worry, he doesn't get killed or anything.
