Friday rants and raves!
Rant: I am just done. Done with painting, done with moving (and we haven't started yet), done with packing (ditto the haven't started yet), done with it all. I haven't had time to myself in a week and a half, and we won't be finished moving until next Saturday.
Rave: It's Friday, we'll be done with the painting between today and tomorrow, the cable guy is coming to set up our cable tomorrow morning, and tonight is (hopefully) our last night in the tiny apartment. So great.
Bonus Rave: Our new kitchen looks AWESOME.

Rave: Work party at the new employment last night.I had a blast getting to know people better. It's been a hard transisiton away from my work friends from before. So I can finally see myself begining to entertain the idea of liking it here. We'll see, but it's a start.
I get to work on home projects this weekend and me and the fella with have the whole weekend to ourselves - Yippee!
Rant: It's been another rough week at work. I am pretty much done.
Rave: I am happy that my 3 mile runs are getting easier again. It was tough after being away and then sick and then away again, so I am happy to be back and building mileage again.
Rant: I had to get a root canal on my FRONT TOOTH yesterday - I have had a root canal before and it wasnt all that bad, this one however, was the worst experience of my life. I literally cried at the dentist office. I'm pretty sure he didnt wait long enough for the numbing to set in. To top it off he told me he was going to leave the tooth open to "drain" and I have to go back on Tuesday to get it filled...so I have a weekend full of vicodin ahead of me - its truely miserable.
Rave: Even though my tooth hurts, and I'll spend the weekend drugged up (no fun) - My hubby is being SO sweet about it, saying he'll take care of me and cuddle me all weekend - which I'm totally looking forward to!

RANT: My job is cutting hours, we are a small company and it's not being done the right way. I am lucky that so far I have been saved, but guilt and the anger towards myself and another "saved" one is terrible.
RAVE: The weekend is here in 4 hours. I need quality time with my boys. And wine tonight! Lots and lots of wine.

Rant: I've had the worst week eating wise and can't motivate myself to go to the grocery store so we actually have food to cook. Take out is just so much easier.
Rave: I just picked up our wedding albums and they look great! And, they accidentally upgraded our album to a larger one, and it's HUGE! Excited to go to the gym tomorrow and for the weekend! Also, it looks like the animals shelter where I live won't have its budget cut and won't have to shut down.
Rave: April Fool's Day is the best day to come to work. Our corporation changes their internal website to a gag website. It's hilarious. Also, we're going out for beers today with the bossman. "Camelot" premiers on Starz (which we get free for 1 year!), and the weather is supposed to be 80 degrees this weekend.
Rant: Someone I worked with passed away this week. He had brain cancer. I didn't work with him very much, but still sad. He leaves behind his wife and 3 young children. I also found out this week that someone I went to high school with was murdered the day before my wedding. He was hit with a frying pan then stabbed multiple times -- over a post on Facebook.
Yikes! What a sad world we live in when a post on Facebook can cause someone to murder someone else like that. Jeez. That's so terrible to hear.
Rant: I've been feeling nauseous for the past two weeks and I've had a mild fever on and off for that time as well. I'm also starting to get a headache (which I'm blaming on my overuse of Excel at work yet again).
Rave: I have 2.5 hours left of work and then it's the weekend! This week has gone by so slow for me. I'm looking forward to getting a much needed pedicure and getting my hair colored. It's been looking pretty bad with all my grays sprouting up (damn genetics for making me go gray so young!).
Yeah, apparently these people posted something on Facebook about this guy's sister. So he went over to their house to ask them about it, and then the two people killed him.
Ugh, that is so awful!
That's crazy! It doesn't even sound like a fight that went wrong... it's amazing how something like that can get so out of hand.
Rant: I'm sick. I feel miserable. And this weekend We have two "have to" engagements this weekend. One is a children's birthday. I don't really understand why people invite people without kids to a kids' party.
Rave: I'm hoping to her back soon about a really promising consulting project. Maybe I'll feel better by the time the kids' birthday party comes around.
Rant: It's now Summer here in Las Vegas...no such thing as Spring. 90 degrees and Im pooped! I am soo going to hate being pregnant during the Summer here.
Rave: Since Im a nanny of a 1 year old and his mother (my boss) is due with #2 any day, I was extremely worried telling her that Im pregnant. She was happy,excited and congratulated me. Thank You Jesus!

Rant: So, so tired. Running 10k tomorrow and have to go to the expo tonight. Can't I just go to bed now and get some rest?
Rave: Yay, it's the weekend? I dunno.
Wow that is so sick :-/
Rave: Disco fries for dinner for me! H is working and that is all I want! Oh and Monday we find out if the baby is a boy or girl and I cannot wait!
Rant: H wants to have some boys over later this month which I am out for a bachelorette party. Some of these guys I am fine with, some not so much. They are drunk messes and I do not want beer / liquor on my new furniture or carpets!
Manda - What part of NJ are you in? I just moved to the area about a year and a half ago, and I've heard different description of disco fries. Can you fill me in on what they really are?
my version (and the only kind I ever had): fries with brown gravy and melted mozzarella cheese all over. So good! I just finished it all
And I was in Bergen County NJ. just moved in January though back to NY, not too far over the border though, and I still work in Bergen
a little late, but at least I'm doing it..
Rave: DH and I seem so much closer this recent week and we get along much better. We are starting to save money for baby by not eating out (only spending $10 or less a week on fast food if necessary) and we ran into some old friends at a wedding.
Rant: The wedding was absolute chaos... invitations didn't really go out, last minute hairdresser change, on my feet all day, back is killing me, hips are so weak I can barely walk, it was super hot, and the bride was pouting all day. ok im done.
