Grey's Anatomy (poss spoilers)
Anybody watch it last night????
I could totally relate to Meredith when she & Derek were in the elevator about life not being fair. How can people who don't really care to have kids get pg so easily and those of us who do want them more than anything can't get pg?!?! I was in tears last night because I felt her same exact frustrations.
Re: Grey's Anatomy (poss spoilers)
With me being as emotional as I am, I'm surprised I didn't cry during the episode. The only time I got choked up at all was the very end when Callie woke up and said yes.
As for the elevator scene, I didn't cry but I wholeheartedly agree with Meredith. I feel for some of my loved ones who do want kids and can't have them. My cousin B and her DH tried for years, paid thousands of dollars for multiple failed attempts at in vitro and have a lovely home, great jobs and tons of love to give. She just turned 49 and they accepted a while ago that they just weren't meant to be parents. The saddest part is that her niece got pregnant 6 times by several different guys and none of the 4 kids she raised (plus 1 she gave up for adoption and a stillborn) were planned. It broke B's heart when she tried everything, and all it took was mere chance for her niece, starting since she was 15 years old.
