what are you making this week? i FINALLY got my cooking itch back! i have a freezer full of chicken, chopmeat, and sausages.
Tonight - my dh is having people over for Wrestlemania so we're ordering pizza and wings from the Nanuet Hotel.
i need inspiration for the remainder of the week. WFD?

Re: meal planners-WFD?
I just got back from Shoprite and I actually planned this week so I'm excited. Usually I don't have a plan and get disgusted so then we just eat take out and go out.
Tonight - mozzarella stuffed meatballs, penne, and 'sauce' (since I'm trying to be Italian
), and a salad
tomorrow - coconut chicken with apricot dijon sauce, roasted asparagus, and rice
Tues - I go to my parents for dinner
Weds - 'Benchiladas', corn, and mexican rice
Thurs - bacon piergoi bake and salad
grilling steaks and eggplant tonight - and probably garlic bread and a steamed veggie.
the next few days will be lots of leftovers from this weekend - shrimp parm, chix parm, roast chix, spaghetti and meatsauce, chix marsala.
I returned from shoprite as well!

here is this weeks plan, no order just depends what i feel like that morning
Kapusta ( kielbasa with sauerkraut, bacon, and apple juice)
Tilapia with onions and green peppers
Shake N Bake Pork chops
Beef stew (using the last of the stew meat in the fridge)
Anniversary Chicken (chicken cutlets in teriakyi sauce with cheese, bacon and ranch dressing on top)

Tomorrow starts my first day as an official 9-5er x 5 days/week. I start my new job. It will be a big adjustment and I'll have to feel out how we'll work dinner. I used to be out of the house for 16 hour days x3/week. I'd cook like crazy on my days off.
didn't put together the rest of my week yet, but open for suggestions as I have a greezer full of ground turkey and ground beef. Maybe a meatloaf....
Tonight its country style ribs in the crock pot, baked potatoes, roasted asparagus and brussel sprouts.

Monday: Orange-glazed chicken, peas, rice, salad
Tues: Chicken pot pie
Wednes: going out to eat
Thurs: DH is making smothered pork chops- he makes the BEST pork chops- potatoes, string beans
Fri- pizza- a nice, safe, meatless choice!
Mon - Shredded Taco Chicken (slow cooker) over brown rice
Tues/Wed - MIL cooks
Thurs - Leftovers
Fri - Sweet Soy Glazed Chicken and Onions (Stephanie Cooks)
Sat - Pork Chops (on grill if weather cooperates)
Sun - Chicken Marsala (slow cooker, Stephanie Cooks)
Wow, I guess we eat a LOT of chicken!!!
