Hi everyone!
Thanks so much for the well wishes. We have had a busy week getting used to everything and with a million visitors. Nathan is doing awesome and is such a good baby. He loves to be swaddled,is breastfeeding very well, sleeps until I wake him during the night and eats a ton.
Quick birth story: I went to the hospital at 1am Sunday morning and was admitted pretty quickly. At about 6am I got an epidural and slept for most of the day. At 5pm I was fully dilated and it was time to push. I pushed for over 2 hours and needed forceps to help guide him out. All in all the whole thing was very smooth and went way better than I expected. He's absolutely precious. You guys and your babies make me so jealous that I have to wait for another year or more. I've gone into baby-covetous mode and have already designed my non-existent nursery for my non-existent baby.
I'm so glad to hear that everything went smoothly. Enjoy that little cutie and give him a smooch for me.
I'm glad you had a good birth experience, although I imagine the forceps weren't fun!
