Getting stuff ready for daycare
Parker will be going to a center this Tuesday - Friday since the in-home we chose did not have availability until the 11th. Do I need to label his stuff (bottles, cloth diapers, etc.) to make sure it makes it home with him? What do you ladies do?

Re: Getting stuff ready for daycare
My mom runs a daycare. She provides bottles, but if you bring in your own, she does ask that you label them.
Will many others be CD'ing? If it's just you, I wouldn't worry about it. However, if others will be, then I would label them. I certainly wouldn't want those to come up missing.
If you will be labeling for the in-home provider as well, then I'd make it a more permanent label. If you won't be labeling for the in-home provider, I'd probably just use masking tape and make sure I knew what I sent.
We use a small in-home daycare, so I'm not sure I'm helpful BUT...
Call them and ask first.
I visited a lot of daycares (both center and in-home) and they were very clear on what they needed/expected from us. Especially if you're breastfeeding. Most either provided a 'marker' (basically a sweatband for bottles) or wanted the bottles clearly defined in another way.
What center?
ETA - LJ is the only baby at mine, so again, I'm not very helpful. But I would have no problem labeling everything you take. Then again I'm used to having every thing accounted for, no matter how silly. Hell, my mom even put my last name on TOWELS when I went to college.

Happy thoughts to you this week!
C goes to a center. When he was an infant we marked all of this bottles and his formula we took for him. We not only labeled the outside of the bottles but they take them apart to rinse them out so we labeled every part of the bottle (lids, bottle, insert, everything). We sometimes got another person's bottle in our bag so I think it's important to label really clearly. We also put names on all of his blankets or anything that was leaving his bag. Even with the labeling, sometimes the blankets get mixed up. We used disposable diapers and we just labeled the big package we brought them in and the center labeled each of the diapers individually. For wipes, we were supposed to bring in our own dispenser the first time with wipes to put in it and we labeled that with his name as well. I would assume you need to label anything you want to bring home with you.
