Re: Decorating ?s
I really dislike the color of the walls with the oak. Everything blends together and looks like one big blah....
What color is your living room? Walls are a light sage green with white trim. Curtains are brown. Rug is cream.
What color/type is your flooring? Natural oak.
What color is your furniture? Couches are a dark sage green. The wood furniture is stained espresso.
This earthy green and brown theme continues through the dining area and kitchen (open concept).
Well, my walls should be latte (from Restoration Hardware
) but only 1 1/2 walls are painted (we really need to finish painting)... The trim is a cream/ off-white color. Carpet is brown.
Our couch is camel colored and the recliner is brown. Our curtains are red. We have a few different pieces of furniture in the room that are different shades of stained wood.
ETA- we have a fireplace that is painted white brick with a wood (darkish finish) mantel.
We live in an apartment so there's no changing the walls or the floors.
We have off white walls and beige floors.
Our furniture is an earthy greenish brown, very similar to Holly's. We just got it in the fall and it's our first matching set and I love it.

The walls in our living area (open concept with the kitchen and dining) are like a beige/tan color.
There was new, beige carpet when we moved in so we haven't changed it yet. We will probably replace it with hardwood or laminate wood in a few years. Not sure what color.
We have dark brown couches and a mixture of woods.
So, overall, very brown. We add color through accessories. They are much easier and cheaper to change out when I get bored.
