  • They are okay but I don't really like cream filled things in general.  I do love the Cadbury mini eggs though!
  • Ugh amazing but I haven't had any this year... There is sill time... I'm on it.

I'm with you. The Creme eggs are too sweet and rich for me. The cadbury mini eggs, on the other hand, are heaven in a bag.

Agreed.  I used to love the Creme eggs when I was younger, now, not so much.  I could eat the mini eggs all day every day though!

I voted "other" since they're just okay.  They usually end up being too sweet for me.  Although freezing them might help with that.

And deep frying?  Never heard of that one..

    Are the minis less sweet?

Freezing does help- it makes them less sickly sweet and kind of mutes the sweetness in the chocolate.

And deep frying?  Never heard of that one..

Dip in funnel cake batter then fry.  Delicious.

There are Cadbury Mini Eggs, which don't have cream, so they're much less sweet- kind of like a better version of an M&M.

Then there are Cadbury Mini Cream Eggs, which are less sweet because there is less of the actual egg.

  • When we say "mini eggs', do we mean the mini creme eggs, or the chocolate eggs with the hard candy coating?

The mini creme eggs have a higher chocolate to creme ratio, so if you don't want the super sweet filling, those are good. They can be hard to find.

I really just love anything cadbury's.

I think we're talking about the cadbury mini-eggs, not the mini creme eggs.  At least I was.  And even still, I prefer the larger creme eggs... gimme the sugary sweet creme filling baby!

  • I'm with Ames--I could eat them all, no questions asked. My Easter basket MUST have at least 2 Cadbury cream eggs, 4 Reese's PB eggs (the big ones), 2 Cadbury caramel eggs, a Redstone chocolate bunny, and a bag of the Cadbury mini-eggs. All other treats are optional.
